Rocket fish is my go to brand for mounting televisions against a wall. I hang TVs regularly in the commercial industry and have never had a single issue. All you need is in the box except for some drywall anchors which you can pick up at your local hardware store. Never had an issue out of 100 TVs i have hung.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does it matter which way the wall mount is installed?...Is it reversible?

The amount that attaches to the wall can be installed either way as long as it is level and running parallel to the floor and ceiling. The brackets that attached to the television in the back or also interchangeable, however you will not I have easy access to theAdjustment knobs that lock the television at a certain angle. You want to use knobs on the outer edge rather than pointing to the Center for accessibility.
