I see not much difference but quality of picture is better than using regular HD cables.

If i got a 4ktv that does not support hdcp 2.2 will i still be able to use this hdmi cable on my 4k bluray player with the same quality?

Actually it works good with my sony 4k tv but I suggest that you take a look into your TV instructions to make sure your tv supports this cable.

If I purchased the Sony X 950G today, Jan. 24,2020 would it have all the latest software updates installed or would i have to install the latest ones myself since some came out recently.

At soon your TV is connected to the internet it will automatically let you know, if it needs to upgrade the software it will do it. This is a beautiful TV enjoy
