I can play DVDs and use subtitles. Easy to hook up.
One caveat - you have to push to button for a long time and sometimes several times to get the tray to come out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

For a user w/ an old HP desktop, I'm finding this machine hard to get used to. Stuff happens when I don't mean for it to, and stuff doesn't happen when I want it to. (Probably my fault, but that's why 3 stars and no recommendation.)
(If you find Windows 10 confusing, try downloading ClassicShell. It imitates the feel of Windows 7.)
