not much of a selection when it comes to component speakers on stock in an best buy you will have better luck with subwoofers and amps but all is still limited... i have these in the dash knee and top panel of my 15 wrangler unlimited and for optimum quality i have them wired to 4 channel CXA-300.4 kicker amp cuz you gotta push these speakers to actually get the best sound out of any 6 “-6.5 components or full range speakers i have kicker 6.5 full range KX series in my sound bar since i don’t need tweeters remotely installed elsewhere since right above head again instore selection is weak

if you can get price match down from 399 it’s grear amp it would be great if it came with bass control remote cuz it is hard to adjust so i bought epicenter for 199 instead of easily buying the alpine remote for 25 bucks haha

bass is lost in recording and just falls under capabilities of some stereos if you are looking to have some bass in rock songs that lack or just want better quality out of your stereo buy this

good. RCA Cable when you don’t need but couple feet if that i always thought rca cables where just plain cables nothing special i guess you get what u pay for and they won’t last if they are cheap junk!!! if you are spending $1k on a stereo might as well not get cheap and lose. quality over couple bucks and over all kicker is really been proving themselves as one of the top Audio replacement/upgrades i won’t lie give credit where it’s due i have quiet a bit of kicker in rear of my 2015 JK unlimited wrangler idk why i haven’t had stereo in 15 yrs or so and now i got a slicks setup

I’m looking to buy a L7s 10” sub. It has a recommended 600rms and peaks at 1200. Would the cx1200.1 amp be enough for it or should I switch to a L7r 10” that has a recommended 500rms and peak of 1000??
good thing about kicker amps is the number you see in model or on actual amp 600.1 1200.1 1800.1 300.4 is the RMS spec of amp and multiply it by 2 to get ur peak so yeah def be ok if u don’t wanna spend the money go with 600.1 or do the 1200.1 with room to add another i have L7S solo baric and had the 600 and 1200 on it and no problems at all hard heavy bass and clean sound no clipping at any level of gain the bass control remote is also good option or like me the Epicenter is always good addition ... have alpine 650rms now my 12” can handle 750 rms all day great sounding sub bette than 2compR 12” i was impressed

u will have to check specs to see how much they can “handle “ they themselves don’t have wattage you should by 4 channel to push any alpine speakers they will def handle the power 75-90w RMS usually and like 200+ peak don’t quote me just a ballpark on most speakers

Salesman sold me this amp with 2 10" comp s slim truck boxes. I have run the subs parallel to drop it to 2 ohms but it seems underpowered. Any ideas other than a bigger amp?
600.1 is good bang for buck it’s down to close to 179 i think now like 25 bucks for bass control knob or 1200.1 just go by how hard you wanna slam ur subs biggest thing is to get subs you like and then buy amp with plenty of RMS to over power them cuz then you can upgrade subwoofers if need be and control bass with remote from the driver seat with ease don’t one thing best buy truly lacks i won’t lie or sugar coat it is actual knowledge of car audio and some basic other items so do your research prior to going into store that way ur not standing there for 2 hours when a sale person just randomly walla by and you need to almost jump in their way to ask a question you vaguely get answered sorry it’s annoying at times

What is a good, but cost friendly amplifier for this sub set up?
I'm pretty new to the car audio world and I'm just looking at getting a basic set up going. Any other tips and advice are appreciated.

kicker 600.1 is a good bang for buck amp i had one power two 12”comp R with ease and add $25 for CXARC bass remote you around $200 just make sure it’s what you want... be careful with returning stuff to best buy some stores will treat you like crap and make you feel an inch tall if you return more than couple items so make sure you like what you by i always believed if you get something don’t like it return/exchange period is 15-30 days... doesn’t matter if you spend $3000 in two months!! i switched it up to alpine since though i had 1200.1 mono for my 12” solo baric it was great but alpine is great clean sound plus i got Price match $167 for PDR-65M it’s 650RMS also good thing about kicker amps the number/model is usually RMS watt output on box it will have peak.. 600.1 1200 peak 1200.1 2400 peak 300.4 600peak 4channel

it has real long aux cord that plugs into amp i think it’s basically for CX-CXA AMPS it worked great on my 600.1 and 1200.1 mono amps with my 2 12” compR ported enclosure and also my 12”solo-baric kicker but i switched to an alpine and audio control epicenter to play with bass just be careful with returning stuff to best buy some stores will treat you like crap and make you feel an inch tall if you return more than couple items so make sure you like what you by i always believed if you get something don’t like it return/exchange period is 15-30 days... doesn’t matter if you spend $3000 in two months
