First, quick intro - I'm in tech and have years of experience working with large server systems...so lots of experience working with networking. Sure, a home mesh network is not the same - it's a lot easier.
I had the 3 routers fully up and running in less than 30 minutes. And that includes the time to open the packaging and get all the wrapper stuff removed from the devices.
Highly recommend this product.
BTW - I liked the simplicity of the router physical design over the Orbi, my other original option.
I would recommend this to a friend!

How many devices can this support at one time?

I'm up to 13 wireless devices at the moment and all seems to be fine. Of course, I haven't tried doing heavy downloads on all computers and Roku devices at the same time. And won't that need either.

One of my Roku Tv's Wi-Fi is weak.It keeps going into loading and stops what ever is on Tv.Its the the room furthest from where the main WiFi , internet box is.Would this router make this problem go away?

Likely...we have Roku devices on 4 devices scattered around a 3100 sq ft house and the Velop improved the connections to all of the Roku devices.

Hi, my modem is buried deep in the storage room and patched out to individual rooms and locations in the house. Can i connect the main node to one of the patch point in the room and subsequently place the remaining nodes around the house during setup?

When you say "patched" I assume you mean it's a LAN connection? If so, you should be able to connect there with the initial Velop router. You're not going to lose too much by doing this, but you still may want to first try installing the router in your storage room and see how strong the signal is. The Velop app is good at showing signal strength.
