This refrigerator is good for the price, offers crushed as well as "cubed" ice, and is spacious. I like the fold-up shelf that will allow me to make room for a gallon jug or lower the shelf so that it can be flat if I need more room. I do think the shelves underneath the ice-maker are a bit shallow, but I can think of several things that can be put there if I were to refrigerate them. Overall, it was a great purchase, and affordable since I bought it because my old one stopped working. Sometimes, it is harder to pull the drawers out "evenly"; it seems one side may lag behind. Also, the bar in the freezer fell out and I just don't feel like getting it back in.

Lost the manual What does the red sign (a grate with a handle on bottom) at the Engery saver?
If I'm picturing your description correctly (I see a grate with a teardrop at the bottom), it sounds like the water filter needs to be changed. Does the icon blink red for several seconds when you open or close the door? If this is what your refrigerator is doing, you will need to go to http://www.samsungparts.com. I hope this helps (that's the closest thing on the icon legend.
