It is amazing to have a lens with optical zoom ratio larger than 10 and still provide relatively sharp images in the full range. Based on my tests, the quality of images in the full range, from 28 mm to 300 mm, is comparable or better than the ones from my old Nikon lens with optical zoom of 3x. This lens can replace my three old lens, covering similar focal length. The only down side is a little on heavy side and the side is a little bigger to carry around. But, the convince will well compensate those disadvantages.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I want to buy a Z6 camera with FTZ adapter. The Nikon website says the FTZ is "Fully compatible with over 90 lenses". It gives a partial list, and says "and more" (lenses). The 28-300mm lens is not listed. Is it one of the over 90 fully compatible lenses?

Personally, I don’t use Z6. So, I don’t know exactly. However, based on the description from Nikon web site and information from google search, it is very likely that the 28-300 mm lens works with FTZ adapter on Z6.

I am considering buying this lens for a D7500. I'm also looking at the AF-S DX Nikkor 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR, which is a little less expensive. I don't mind spending the extra money for a better lens. Is one lens better than the other for a D7500?

This 28-300 lens is mainly design for full frame camera, like D750/850. D7500 is DX format. You will be better off to get the the one for DX
