I wanted the same keyboard I use at my office while I'm working from home, so I decided to buy it. The only issue is that sometimes the Caps Lock light comes on even when I don't hit the Caps Lock key. It eventually resets but if I'm trying to login to something, I need to type a couple of letters in a document to be sure the Caps Lock isn't on. I have no idea why it does this!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I needed a Logitech wireless mouse to go with the wireless Logitech keyboard I purchased. I wanted the same kind of keyboard I have at my office, and wanted to use only one dongle. I'm happy with the purchase. I wish it had been on sale but I needed it.

I have Windows 10 home, 64-bit and it works just fine.

will this mouse work on any surface?

I think it will! It even works on my slick, tile topped kitchen table.
