Logitech Wireless Mouse Marathon M705 lets you power on... and on. It uses less power than comparable wireless mice from other companies, so you'll go up to three full years between battery changes.¹ And it uses a tiny wireless receiver that stays plugged in to your computer, so your mouse is ready to go-whenever, wherever, and for as long as it takes. Plus, hyper-fast scrolling means you'll fly through long documents to find what you need in a flash. Advanced Optical Tracking means you'll get smooth, responsive cursor control. And the sculpted, right-hand shape means you'll be as comfortable finishing up as you were getting started.

Works great!

Love the feel and how it moves. Only thing I would change is how slick it is. Probably just me, but a little grip feeling would be better for gaming. Feels like it may slide out of my hand. Works terrifically!
I would recommend this to a friend!

do I need a wireless keyboard for this mouse to work ?

You only need a USB plugin. It does not matter if you have a wireless keyboard. You need a USB plugin for each item though. Say you have a wireless keyboard and this mouse, you will need two usb slots available. One for each receiver.

Hello, I have a MacBook Air and no way to plug in a USB receiver. Is it necessary with this mouse or can I just link up using Bluetooth without plugging in a receiver?

I'm pretty certain you have to have a USB plugin only. That's how it knows to work. The information is stored on the receiver which relays it to the computer to tell the mouse to work.
