Awesome scanner. Replacing an old Cannon that was Windows only. Now also have a MacBook and this one works with both. Very simple setup and exceptional editing capability. Lots of options for pics, negatives and various size slides. Highly recommend!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have a lot of 127 slides - larger negative size than a 35mm slide. It doesn't say if the scanner would crop the picture to the 35mm size or if it's possible to expand the scanned area on each slide. The cardboard slides are both the same size.

It does come with adapters for multiple size slides/negatives. I recommend downloading the PDF of the operator manual and look at the specifics sizes it supports. That's what I did. I have a lot of 35 mm slides and negatives and it can scan a lot more options than my old Canon.

Hello. Does a cord exist to use with the new small Mac USB ports on Mac books? The adapter I have isn’t working. Thanks.

I have a 2020 MacBook Pro 13 inch M1 with the 2 small USB C ports.I had to get a separate USB hub to work. They're pretty reasonable. I got an Anker 8 in 2 adapter and love it. Just enough ports and has pass through charging capability.

What kind of ink does this require?

It doesn't use ink. You will need to print on a separate printer- it only scans
