I use this with a laptop I can no longer get an OEM screen for. The screen was badly cracked and the metal frame had impossible dings. So, I disconnected the screen and use the laptop as a desktop, through a 52" TV. This is my second K400. The battery life and the range of this keyboard are remarkable. The size is big enough to be able to use like it like a standard keyboard. Durability is better than expected. The keys are not as tactile as I'd like, but I was able to adjust to it. Overall, an exceptional value.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will this work with my LG smart TV? If so how is it connected?
Insert the wifi dongle into the USB port on your TV and the keyboard should pair with it, You may not need to use the TV settings. It should work with the browser app on the TV. Beyond that is a mixed bag of tricks. Older TVs probably will not work with it. Some TVs may have TV apps that work with it, all or in part.

can you hook this to a dell monitor
I use an HDMI cable through a 52" Sharp TV. I have an Asus laptop. The keyboard uses an USB wifi dongle that I use with the laptop. It does come with a range extender. So, it should work fine if using it through a laptop. It's also designed to work alone with a smart TV. So, it should also work if projecting from a smart TV to a monitor, as long as the TV is the primary connection.
