So far, I have no complaints. I have scanned several 100 negatives and the quality is good, canning @ 9600 dpi.
It takes about 3-5 minutes per slide, but that is ok for that resolution and the price of the scanner. I guess got mass scanning you would need tray that hold an entire roll of film. More to come, as I scan more materials.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have a MacBook Pro 16" with macOS Big Sur version 11.1 ... will Epson V600 work with it. Some of your listed Q and A seem to suggest that there might be difficulties.

Works for me. Have a MacBook Pro with latest OS.
Connecting the scanner took about 5 min. Make sure you have a usb to usb-c adapter.
