I have a Hero 5 Black and a lot of accessories. Are my Hero 5 accessories compatible with the Hero 8? Example: - Are Replaceable Batteries from Hero 5 compatible with Hero 8? - Are Hero 5 floatable grip, head strap, etc compatible with Hero 8?
the batteries are not going to be interchangable 5 was different but where the 6, 7 and 8 have the same battery setups. however the grips and other mounting accessories will all work just the same. BONUS on the 8 the mounts are built into the bottom of the camera and there is no need to have a separate housing/frame.
