Excellent picture quality at 30fps and quality build.. Works well as a web cam. USB cable is a bit short; needs an extension cable for most instances.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can you turn this microphone off? So you can just use a headset instead?

It depends on the operating system and application software. Zoom allows you to select which microphone is active for example.
Windows OS let you choose the default microphone under control panel/hardware and sound/sound/Recording.

Can I use USB? If so, is a USB cable included in the box?

Yes, it does support USB; as well as Wired Internet and WiFi. No, a USB cable is not included.
