Well, with positive reviews here, despite the low price, I figured it was still a SONY. Unfortunately, I disconnected my old DVD player (no HDMI) and set this one up, batteries in the remote and nothing. Tried in other outlets and it’s dead.
I’m sure they’ll try and give me another but I’ll chalk this up to “ You get what you pay for.”
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I need a DVD Player that would play the DVD+RW and DVD-RW 1.4 GB disc I used in my Handycam to record my memories. My Handycam broke and I am having difficulties finding a player that I could use to play back the DVD-RW and DVD+RW Thank you,
