Google - Wifi - Mesh Router (AC1200) - 3 pack - White
Google Wifi is the easy Wi-Fi upgrade that is a great value. It blankets your whole home with up to 4,500 square feet of fast, reliable Wi-Fi and helps your network stay safe.*

Great product, but an anti-repair company

Not sure why modems/routers weren't mesh a long time ago; it's the way it always should've been. I imagine bridges and extenders are irrelevant now that we have mesh networks.
I like how flexible the included ethernet cable is, but they didn't label the speed on it; I'm kind of reluctant to reuse it without knowing what speeds to expect, which is probably the throwaway thinking that Google wants customers to have.
I made the mistake of using an unintelligible password, and then the stars really aligned in Google's favor; I lost the password when I moved, and Google forced Google Wifi users to switch apps.
The app migration has made it impossible to troubleshoot my mesh routers, so my parents plan on buying a new set. Yay, even more money to Google; forget being able to fix problems when you can just keep paying the people who won't help you.
Not sure what could've made the software experience better; all I can do is point at an example of a better service, like Valve's Steam Guard Authenticator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The HDD broke after maybe 5 years. I think the problem was that the HDD was mounted diagonally, making the motor's rotation lopsided. If that's true, then it's completely the fault of the chassis. They might've been trying to save space by positioning the drive cage like that, but the conspiracy theorist in me says that they intentionally try to break their customers' components.
The tower's saving grace is that the chassis feels very strong externally, and I'm surprised that the side panel had a thumb screw.
Not quite sure why they'd even bother putting a PCIe slot on the motherboard, because it won't accept any card I put in there. Maybe it's just so they can reuse the board in a higher-end product, but it's kind of a jebait for people who actually think they can use the slot for DIY.
My father ended up taking his Envy tower to the Geek Squad before I told him my plan to fix it. My plan was to use an SSD and a Windows key to replace his HDD, but the Geek Squad got nowhere near that conclusion; my father and I ended up going with my plan in the end.
I think the tower had a disc reader, so I was able to use the Windows disc I had laying around for years. Was not hard to get it working again, but the experience drops the tower's value to maybe $250.
That's not to say that the components perform poorly, but requiring your kid to be your family's computer maintenance expert is not for the faint of heart.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought a hp envy i5 desktop and want to put it in a different case but i dont know if it can support rgb fans or not can anyone help me.

I don't remember seeing any RGB headers on the motherboard. You might have the option of getting an RGB fan hub, although check your power supply for an available SATA connector. Looks like mine does have an extra in the daisy chain.
