Does this dvd player, play standard dvd or is it a blue-ray dvd player only?

If you have blue ray dvd, you can play any regular dvd but if you have regular dvd, you cant play blue ray dvd, it wont work

Can you hook this up to two tvs at the same time (to be played at the same time)?

Yes you can if you have splitter and 2 separate cable that goes to a 2 diff tv...tv-cable-splitter-connect each cable from 2 diff tv to either end of the splitter..

Why do I keep getting an error message stating disc dirty when disc is new?

More lilely it is not the disk but probably the head.. try and use head cleaner.. play it for for about 5 mins the. Wait for another 5 to let it dry then try it.. good luck.!

No but you can buy a universal player just for watching..amazon has one am very sure.

How do you connect this dvd player to a tv that is connected to satellite? I don't see any more places in the back of the tv to connect to because the satellite connections are taking all the places.

The best to have your sattelite and the dvd player together is to get a spiltter a shape like a T or cross in which each connector to the sattelite and dvd can be hook each end and another cable that connect from the splitter to ypur cable wall..
