I generally steer clear of Logitech products but figured I'd give this one a try and I was pleasantly surprised. This thing is amazing!

So far I like this TV. However the front page of the quick start guide tells you to go to Sharp TV usa.com to get the manual, but there is no manual. I just spent an hour of my life on the phone being passed around to different people only to find out that sharp releases products without releasing an owner's manual online. But they tell you to go to the website to get it. Pretty unbelievable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do you have to use the software to assign the mouse buttons to existing keys/key-combos, or can you directly bind actions in a game to the mouse buttons?

Good question, I could not get it to work either way. I'd suggest returning it to the store.
