Fine Tuning Today's A/V Receivers

I have a 9 speaker Dolby Atmos surround sound setup and was having trouble fine tuning the system. It takes hours trying different media in the system. In order to get the correct sound output you need to access the many different internal settings that today's AV Receivers have. It is impossible for the Total Tech Support team to do all of this that is required in playing so many different media sources. What they were able to do is show me where these settings were located and how to make any changes.

This MacBook Pro laptop is amazing. I have owned this computer for about a month or so now and am completely blown away with it's many features. It has been incorporated into my total house Mesh system which has increased it usability tenfold. With it's built-in HDMI output I can now connect it to my multimedia Audio/Video Receiver. This allows me to fully use my computer with my 4K TV and 7.2 sound system. I can use all of the features of my computer's use of the internet (full keyboard use and not the thumb driven single character cell phone type inputs)

My new MacBook Pro laptop has 3 USB 3 ports and none of the older larger USB ports. Since all of my older add-on devices use the older USB plugs it was necessary for me to get an adapter that supports my older devices. It works perfect and no problems.

For years I was able to set up my home audio/video stereo systems without ant help. That was the analog years. Today's home entertainment systems are very intimidating because of the complexity of the features they have. I do not have a comfort zone in their setup. The Geek Squad are more comfortable with the setup of these new systems. They did a great job in setting up my home system. I now have to go through the manual and sit down with the system to learn how to do a lot of the settings that the receiver has for it's many built in features. These, I understand have got to be done by the owner.

I bought a new 27 in Mac computer the end of 2018. It came with a "So Called Smart Mouse". It caused major problems from day one. I was blaming all my problems with the software companies. I finally found that all of my problems were with the Mac Smart Mouse. This "BEAST" has a mind of its own. I checked with Best Buy and told them of my problem. They suggested that I replace my "Magic Mouse" with the Logitech - M325 Wireless Optical Mouse. They have always been helpful in the past, so I bought It. WOW, this works FANTASTIC!!! All of the problems that I had with the "Magic Mouse" have been solved. I now have control of the mouse not the mouse having control of me. It has just about all the GOOD features of the Mac Magic without all of it's bad features. "Macintosh, I have contacted you on this problem and have not received any Good Answer"

I had two Geeks come out to my home last week to tweek my TV system. They figured how to get it going again and left me with the system operating. The problem is that I don't know how to turn it off and on . Please help me become a better TV operator.
All of your Remotes act like an On-Off switch.
They can be programmed to turn many devices all on or all off. This can be a problem. If you are watching
a movie disc and want to watch regular TV from a cable box you may turn off both the disc player and the
TV when turning off the disc player. This gets more of a pain when you have three, four or more devices in
your home system. One on-off button on a device may control many devices. Remember that all of your
remote controls have an on-off button. When you press it, it will turn ON the device that it is used for but
it may also turn OFF another device that is already ON. Explain this to your Geek Squad rep. He may be
able make changes on your remotes so that you have more control of your devices.

I have avrs570bt receiver hooked up to Samsung series Q603 tv. where or how do I go in setting to get receiver to play on regular TV or on apps like Netflix or Hulu etc. it was set up the Geek squad. I paid for tech. support but I feel like I'm a pest.
All of today's AV Receivers are very complicated. They allow you to access many different parameters to get the most from your home AV System. You are the Viewer and the Listener in your home AV System. You know that it takes hours playing and listening to Discs, Streaming Devices, Cell Phones etc. The Geek Squad can show you where and how to make changes in your receiver. It is impossible for them to spend those hours that you spend viewing and listening to your home system. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN THROUGH THIS SAME PROCESS. The good news is that they can show you where to access the proper menus and how to use them. I have had many home systems for over 50 years and today's systems need more knowledge to keep them operating correctly. I hope that this helps you and "When You Feel Like Quitting - REMEMBER WHY YOU STARTED".

Does this work with a 65" CURVED TV from Samsung. i.e. 65" 7 series LED
Hardware comes with the Wall Mounting package. A few spacers are included that may give you enough clearance on the back of the TV part of the wall mounting package. You may want to check with the manual to see if any specific instructions are given for wall mounting. I hope that this will help you.

Is there a way to lock the TV to the mount? I am putting a TV in a "California Room", which is open to the outside, and I'm looking for how to prevent someone from removing the TV.
There is no actual locking mechanism for the TV mount. There is a safety feature that prevents the TV from accidentally falling off the wall mount. The wall mount has a top and bottom rail. The TV part of the wall mounting mechanism has two hook like brackets that attach to the top rail. The entire weight of the TV rests on the Top Rail. The bottom of this same bracket has a spring loaded clamp that grabs the bottom rail and prevents the TV from accidentally detaching from the wall mount. I don't know if a lock can be attached. You may want to contact the manufacturer. I hope that this will help you.

Will this mount work for a 2019 Samsung 82” Q6DR
On the box it states that this model of the SANUS TV Wall mount (BTL2-B1) fits TVs 42 in. to 90 in. and holds up to 150 lbs. This wall mount is very heavy duty. It comes with just about all the hardware that you will need. The manual for your TV should give you the information for the size screws or bolts that you need to attach the TV part of the wall mounting system. There are two parts for the wall mounting package. One attaches to the TV and the other mounts to the wall. The instructions that come with the package are very easy to follow and all the hardware that you will need is included.
