A little on the expensive side. Setup was easy with an iPhone. Wifi coverage area is a bit small but with enough of these you will have good coverage. They suffer from what most current wifi mess systems suffer from and that is not switching to best wifi device when moving around the house. Turn off wifi and turn it back on and you will most likely connect to the closest. This is a bug in the current wifi specification. I have seen articles stating that a new specification that does a better job is being worked on. The app has good information about which devices are connected. If you are managing a family's access that is very helpful.

I have purchased APC UPS devices for many years. They are solid and have good value. It's easy to get replacement batteries when you need them.

This NETGEAR Gigabit unmanaged switch helps businesses cost effectively expand their network to Gigabit speeds and high port counts. The GS105 switch comes with 5 Gigabit copper ports in a desktop metal case and is wall-mountable. This switch is energy-efficient, built to last, and rigorously tested to provide the reliability businesses need. 802.1p traffic prioritization and jumbo frame support allow for seamless integration with sophisticated networks.

A solid choice

A solid choice at a good value. I have purchased many of these over the years. They can fail over time, but so can larger switches.

Transmit incoming audio and video signals to your HDTV easily with this Rocketfish 25' Indoor/Outdoor RG6 Coaxial Cable. The 25-foot length supports connection to outdoor satellite dishes and antennas, while the F-connectors have a weather-resistant brass finish and an 18 AWG solid core for quality signal transmission. This Rocketfish coax cable is compatible with various HDTVs for wide-ranging use.

Is this cable a 6 series or higher?

Yes, RG6 has 18 AWG and RG59 has 20AWG. This coax has 18 AWG which makes it an RG6 which is considered 6 series.

If I take my Netgear modem/router combo out of Router Mode, will it then automatically be in AP Mode (bridge)? Could I then connect the Eero router to it?

Yes. In fact you have to turn off router mode on your modem for this device to work since it needs to be the router.

Hi! We have satellite internet. HughesNet is the company. We aren’t able to get starlink yet but would this be able to be used to aid with the hughesNet lag?

This device will not improve your internet service. It will only extend the area in your house that can access your internet via wifi.

does it work with verizon

It will work with any internet provider. However, if the modem that you get from your provider has a router function you will need to turn that off so the eero can act as the router. In many cases, people buy a simple modem what doesn't have a router built in to use with a mesh wifi system like this.

Does this eero 6+ model support the connection and usage of a NAS device attached to one of the pucks with an ethernet cable? I have a large music library I want to access on a NAS, but I need to know that this eero will support it. Thx!

Yes, the device has two ports, one to connect to the modem and one that you can send to the rest of your house. I used a switch connected to the second port and then sent wires to different areas of the house. A NAS could be connected either directly to the device if that was the only wired device you needed or the NAS could be connected to a switch that was connected to the device.

I bought the 6+ AX3000 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Router. Before I buy an extender, I was wondering if this router alone also acted as an extender. Thanks!

Each of these devices can be a router or extender. The first one you setup that is connected to your modem will be the router and extender. The rest will be extenders. I have found if possible to place the extenders where they can have a wired connection to the router however, it areas where that is not possible, you can use wifi connectivity but you need to make sure there is a good signal between the devices when using wifi connectivity. Line of sight is the best option. The app will tell you if the connection is good or not when using wifi to connect an extender to a router.
