Considered it very entertaining tho a bit gory (natural for this genre). Only objection was Sheen as Lucian - too contemporary - and with all the beautiful vampire women fell for the homeliest in the bunch.

I basically enjoyed most of this but the main characters (Bella and Edward) left me cold. Bella's manner of speaking reminded me of someone with brain freeze and Edward was so self-sacrificing and martyred with the tragic poses I laughed for the most part.
Loved Jake and Charlie! They to me made the movie.

Expedition with Steve Backshall: Season 1 [DVD]
Disappointing, boring and not buying some of it!

Lost interest after the fourth episode. First am highly skeptical of a lot of this. Fine with shots of them walking along mountain paths or thru the snow but that ends. Scene of Backshall hanging from his rope trying to fix it with close to the face camera shots - either cameraman right on top of him or body cam - scene in the back looking rather faded leaving me the unworthy thought "photo shopped." Another of a guy hanging there suffering from dehydration - see above camera shots - rather than getting him down immediately, and having the unworthy thought "he's standing on the ground and they're trying to make it look like he's dangling."
Not to mention numerous ominous statements of the dire things that could happen - none does. Have a feeling Backshall is trying to be another Nigel Marvin and if I had to vote for the most entertaining Marvin gets the nod.

Never saw the previous film so have nothing to compare it to. I thought the graphics were excellent and a friend of mine and I watched it together and both loved it. In this day and age of blood, gore and foul mouth this was definitely refreshing.

I couldn't wait to get season 8 and the reason I only gave four stars was the fact a rather excessive cost for just six episodes! Other than that enjoyed every minute of it, felt they tied things up at least to my satisfaction, was sad to see some characters die but a few others was delighted and actually sniveled a bit to think it was over! But to quote another reviewer bring on the sequels.

The 100: The Complete Sixth Season [Blu-ray]

I loved the first five seasons and couldn't wait for 6 - be careful what you wish for! This show should either be renamed "The Clarke" (full of Clarke trials, tribulations, danger averted; even case only pictured U No Who) or "The Boo Hooing Bellamy" since he seemed to be in tears or on the verge of them throughout the season! Thank Heaven for Murphy, Raven and Echo. Dyoza was in a good bit of it and she's always great. Kane most of the time was unconscious and Abby is getting old (in more ways than one). Octavia was a bit over the top but good.
Boils down to landing on a new planet (natch), people there with sinister motives towards our heroes (natch) with all sorts of parallels to Mt. Weather. Some of the dialogue was rather garbled, some of the plots were ludicrous and only curiosity to see if it got ANY better led me to watch the whole thing. They really lost their direction in this season - was more fun with the grounders, commanders, Monty, Jasper, and so on.
They are doing a seventh and supposedly final season - hope they get back on track.
