Worked fine initially, but then my wife who used it stopped for a year or so. Afterwards we could never get it to charge from our iPads. When we install it on the magnetic spot on the iPads it registers its presence, the charge percent at zero, and that it’s supposed to be recharging. But it never does. Rechecking it now over a year later and it is still the same. I’ve finally gotten around to writing a review here, but after all this time I guess we don’t need one of these pencils. It’s just sad that if you don’t constantly keep it charged the ability to recharge is lost. I note this is a common problem with these things from the internet, so maybe with all our evolving battery technology Apple will come up with a fix sometime?

There is a knack to getting the little plastic tabs on the headphones to retain the sides of the ear pads properly, but once you figure it out they installed just fine. They look and work great. Hopefully they’ll last longer than the originals where one had the foam insert popping out, and both had lost the silver paint where the pads contacted my head. I love these headphones and so replacement pads are a must.

I especially like TurboTax because it allows me to easily import tax data from my Robinhood account, something I could not do with HR Block tax software that is otherwise comparable in ease of use. Something I wish both of these tax softwares would offer to do is provide free state income tax digital filing like they do with the Federal. Why not in this digital age?

I have hours and hours of old VHS tapes I had digitized a few years ago that I’m finally sorting through and making short and manageable mp4 videos that I can date and organize for my kids and grandkids. I have no where near enough hard drive on my computer, and it’s a slow mechanical disk drive anyway. The old digitized tapes are on fifty nine DVD’s where, once I transfer then onto my new SSD, these files are easily manipulated by my video editing software. I actually have two of these drives now with one being a backup, and the other I’ll use for distributing the files to family. Too much video to send over with email!

Very impressed with the sound quality of this sound bar, and it mates with my new 18 K 65-inch Samsung TV very nicely. It was also on sale with a price that included a gift card that I subsequently used to purchase the compatible two rear speaker pair that was also on sale at the time. The ARC HDMI connection allows me to use only the TV remote to turn the sound bar on or off at the same time as the TV. Using the Samsung SmartThings app on my phone makes it easy to optimize the sound in the room for excellent channel separation, treble, and bass, as well as connect my phone to the sound bar for playing music. I don’t believe I’ve ever owned a better TV sound system.

Love this new TV. Great picture and software features. So nice compared to our old 60-inch 2011-vintage 1080P Samsung! Sometime after 5G comes out maybe we’ll have 8K programming too, but current 4K looks great now. Samsung sound bar connects very nicely too! Eliminated need for my Apple TV unit and the single TV remote handles everything. Got on sale too!

I prefer TurboTax over HR Block that I had used for years because it recognizes Robinhood annual summary financial reports. This tax software gets the job done, although neither TurboTax or HR Block tax software includes the fee for electronic filing of my state return, only for filing my federal return (5 times!). Not sure why this fee can’t be included (and discounted!) in the original purchase price.

You can’t beat the original Apple charging cords for quality, although adding slip-over cord supports at the device end helps minimize cord cover fatigue and cracking. This fatigue and cracking problem seems to occur on all lightning cords whether or not they’re Apple or third party supplier. Only wish the price was a bit less is all.

What is the latency (ms response time) of this mouse?
I don’t know, but it’s fast enough for my gaming needs. I’m sure one can look up the actual spec on the Internet. In settings you can set up to five different movement speeds, how fast the mouse pointer follows the mouse movement. A switch on the side allows one to cycle through your presets. I’ve got three settings, fast, slower, and slower still (but not too slow). There is also a switch on top to toggle between two battery power consumption levels. I use the high settings in both areas for my gaming needs. I also am able to use this mouse just fine without a mouse pad, which I don’t like to use.

How loud are clicks? Are they silent or do they make a little bit of noise or are the clicks loud?
The clicks are silent, but you can enable sound in settings if you want.
