this laptop is 4k and it says streams hdr video but how do I enable to use HDR when I look at display info it shows bit depth 8 bit and color format rgb AND SDR. I WANT IT TO SHOW 10 BIT COLOR SPACE ycbcr444 and color space HDR like on my desktop.

what is the max ram I can add, I see people say a 32gb one in addition to the 8gb one and then an asus rep says only 16gb? Also, you can add another m2 memory looking at the Seagate FireCuda 510 2TB SSD. Once i did that could i use that one for windows

has anyone been able to view uhd/4k content via apps like netflix, vudu, disney plus, prime, movies anywhere. I just bought Samsung - Galaxy 13.3" 4K Ultra HD Touch-Screen Chromebook but there was no 4k content with those apps, which makes no sense.

how is this a 4k chromebook and it doesn't support 4k playback via netflix,vudu movies anywhere and disney plus just to name a few. it doesn't make sense

is this HDMI 1.4 / 2.0 / 2.1 ?
the HDMI is 2.0 and you will only get UHD (2560 X 1440) 144HZ with freeSync off, with it only up to 1080P HDR 60Hz. the display port is 1.4 and will give you up to 240hz with or without freesync on/off. with the sync off for hdmi you will get UHD for things like apple4k roku ps4 etc.

Is the max refresh rate of hdmi on this monitor 144HZ? If so does it allow for 1440p 144hz with hdr and freesync?
I'm order to get 4k hdr via hdmi port, on this monitor you have to turn off the free sync feature .which means the refresh rate will only be 144 hz not full 240 hz. With free sync on via hdmi you get only 1080p. You only get the full 4k hdr with 240 hz with the display port input with free sync on.thinking of returning this and get the older one I had Samsung odyssey ghg7 which had 144hz max refresh rate.
