I really like the Apple TV. I have had a few other streaming boxes, and none come close to the smooth operation of the Apple TV user interface. Excellent picture, great UI, and reliable service. I like the new SIRI remote; especially the on/off switch.

I had a series one Apple Watch and recently upgraded to this series six. There have definitely been a lot of upgrades and improvements made to the watch. I like the display always being on and the gps not being dependent on the iPhone. Excellent smart watch.

This portable SSD is a solidly built, easy to carry around, and has all the storage space needed for most applications. I use it with my camera for image and video storage. The USB-C, with the included USB-A adapter make it great for interfacing with pretty much any device. I transfer things between camera, iMac competer, and my iPad Pro all the time. Great purchase.

I purchased the Sony E PZ 18-105mm f/4.0 OSS lens, and I have been using it for about a month. It has proven to be a very versatile lens that can be used in a wide variety of situations. I recently took it on a vacation trip and never swapped to any other lenses. The zoom range is perfect for most common shots and the images are sharp and colorful. Great for stills and video. The built in stabilization really completes the value. Great lens!

First, I am a Mac guy. I prefer to use Macs at home and work. I bought this HP Envy x360 2-in-1 for a Windows specific application in my hobby wood shop. That said, this is a very nice computer. The Windows 10 operating system runs smoothly with the core i5 processor and the 256gb SSD. The display is crisp and vibrant as well. All in all a good value for the price.

After considering for a long time, I decided to purchase a Sonos system for my living room. I bought the Playbar, the Sonos Sub, and the Sonos Amp to power two already installed surround speakers. I actually went from a full 5.1 component system to the Sonos system. First, for those who are wondering, this system is no substitute for a separate surround system. The system I had before sounded better. But, for a soundbar based system, it comes pretty close to it. It sounds really good. My wife loves not having all the speakers and wires from the previous system. I love the sound and the reliability of the Sonos wireless system.
I purchased my Sonos system (quite expensive) on 11/20/19 at full retail price. Three days later I get an email from Best Buy inviting me to Black Friday prices which showed massive discounts to each of the Sonos components I bought. There was a big difference in price. I called to get the price match guarantee, and even spoke with a manager at the local BB. No price match for Black Friday deals. Probably got ten emails that week rubbing the lower price in my face. Bad form Best Buy. If you lower a price three days after purchase, you should honor the price match.

I recently "cut the cord" with a certain satellite tv service. I installed an OTA antenna and use streaming services. I bought the Tivo Bolt OTA because I wanted a nice channel guide interface and the ability to dvr broadcast shows for convenience. I also bought a Tivo Mini to use in the master bedroom. While the software guide is nice, the monthly charge for it is not. There is also no way to use any of the streaming live channel apps (Sling, Hulu w/Live TV, or Youtube TV). You can have Netflix, Amazon Prime, and the basic Hulu service, but no live channel apps. What really ended my efforts to use this setup was the level of complication in setting up the Tivo Mini. It requires a MoCa network that I could never get to work, and Tivo's online instruction guide is sadly lacking any clarity. Bottom line: Getting this to work correctly was going to require that I run more coax in my house and add electrical outlets. Too much trouble and expense. I took everything back to Best Buy.

I auditioned every bluetooth over-the-ear headset I could find. While there are some that sound better and have better noise cancelation, these headphones represent the best performance for the money. These headphones sound great and are very comfortable and long listening times. If you want quality headphones for a reasonable price, get these.
