Replaced a dead amp M-Audio set with these and it worked out well. Tunable with bass/treble controls, volume remote plus provided with RCA out cable AND RCA-to-Stereo out jack for your Smartphone. Still deciding on whether to remove the baffles due to softer sound. Muffles the highs a little at the cost of protecting the cones from dust.

Simply using this for an office monitor. At the $139 price at the time, it was a no brainer. I had bought another for our security DVR. Another associate needed a new monitor for her desktop. The security DVR's video card died (still accessible by IP address, though, so I switched Graphics desktop to this. Couldn't be happier! Prefer Samsung always. At the time $139! Timing is everything . . .

I needed a couple of power supplies for two LED light panels for photography rather than change batteries frequently. As long as you need less 12VDC or less, this works well. Probably not good as a laptop replacement which typically uses higher current.

This is no different. I go to the mfg website and download the pdf manual so I can ZOOM in. Much easier! No pain, no gain!

From the information provided: A device is compatible if the 1) correct tip is available, 2) voltage is between 3 and 12 V DC, 3) input does not require more than 1.3 A of current, and 4) polarity is positive. Not for use with laptops.
You need to compare the specs on your defunct power supply to see if they match. For instance, if voltage (it has a switchable voltage!) matches. If the plug fits. And if your old one doesn't require 2 or 3 amps or above, you're good.

No, not @ $49.95 or so. It has a wireless remote, though. And you could hook up a device with the proper mini-stereo cable if your phone has the out jack on it. I've posted in other questions that the speakers on this is atrocious. However, I connected the speakers from its predecessor which sounded great.

I don't know that device. What's important when replacing the power supply of anything is to compare voltage, wattage and amperage. This unit works from 12V to 3V (or the voltage of two AA, AAA, C or D common battery@1.5V each.) This has a 1.3 amp upper limit and a wattage output of 15W. These are the two critical measurements! If your device draws more than 1.3 amps, this supply will work for a little while until it burns out minutes later! Or your house whichever goes first . . . This also why the put the comment "Not to be used for laptops." They draw too much current for this little thing. Generally speaking, if your device can use AA,AAA, C,D or 9 volt batteries, you're good. Most devices that use external power supplies will have voltage and amperage marked on its case by the power jack or if you have it's old power supply, it'll be marked. If your device exceeds those of the power supply, look for a better supply. Be safe!
