Out of the box set up was a breeze. The only feature to deal with was the brightness which was set to minimize power use. Works well in a room with lots of windows and glare. The smart tv worked well to set up and register with Netflix and Amazon Pr me. I do not use other services. There was a promotion of slingshot but no literature to activate. Be carefull in the model you choose, I needed an ethernet port so my model has one, some do not
