If you are using this in your home how does the antenna work
The antenna would need to placed in a window that faces where the satellites are, to acquire a signal. That or place it outdoors where it can acquire the satellite. Of course you'll need the home kit to use house voltage to run this. You might want to consider using the app on your phone, Ipad, etc... to listen indoors. I believe this would be an extra charge on your subscription plan

Will this work without the Sirius Radio subscription? I’m thinking about getting it as a gift for a 20 year old but not sure if he will always want to pay for the service.
