I'm using this drive for occasional use on my computer because PCs usually don't have DVD drives anymore. My first use was to archive precious family videos to MP4 files. Twenty years ago, I copied some VCR family videos to DVDs. I downloaded the free version of VideoProc Converter AI and transcribed these DVD videos to MP4. I can share these with friends and family now on Google Drive. It can also play movie DVDs. I was glad that they included the correct USB cable.
It's not a rugged device, but at the low price and for occasional use, this was a perfect choice for me.

I've been wearing the Forerunner 255 for five weeks. I customized the "Activities" tracking I need and the health monitoring data I use, including sleep quality and VO2 level. It even gives weather alerts and evaluates your distance and pace for running and biking. I have bumped it on objects many times but it doesn't have any scratches on the face. There is a learning curve to use it, but it's worth taking the time to learn what it can do. It can be used for swimming, but not for scuba diving.

The sound quality is average, lacking punch in the bass. For music or action movies, you will want to add a soundbar. The viewing angle is narrow. The SSD comes with two cables -- a USB-A 3.x to USB-C, and a USB-C to USB-C. I confirmed that they are both data AND charge. So you can deploy them for other uses such as charging your phone or programming your microcontroller. The installation software supports Windows 7 and higher, macOS 10.10 and higher, and Android 5 and higher. Installation permits optional AES 256-bit hardware password protection. The datasheet says that it is drop-resistant to 3 meters. It is equipped with an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance.
I did a Windows 10 copy/paste backup of 53 GB in 44 minutes. I will continue to backup more at this rate. You could use Macrium Reflect to clone your whole drive to this grab-and-go device.

This TV has amazing picture quality and brightness. You can adjust the picture mode to your liking by using the remote. The screen is a non-reflective black so ambient light doesn't show on your picture. You will want to honor such picture quality with a soundbar, subwoofer, and rear wireless ATMOS speakers. The Geek Squad installed it for me, saving me a lot of work. I ordered a 5-meter One Connect cord (part no. VG-SOCA05) so I could move my equipment cabinet farther away from the TV.

This USB-A to micro USB supports both data and charge. Not all cables support both. For example, a USB cable you've used to charge a device might not work if you use it to transfer data or program a microcontroller. This cable does both functions. I have used it to program and power an Arduino and an Adafruit Feather that have micro USB connectors. Cut your old micro USB cables in half and use this one instead.

Should I consider these speakers or go with my tryed and true 25 year old Klipsch Forte II floor speakers?
I will add this second answer to my first. You probably like the wide sound dispersion of your Forte II midrange horns. These new tower speakers are more directional and you would want to point them to your favorite listening position. I am comparing them with my old Klipschorns that I recently retired. One respondent suggest replacing the Forte crossover networks and this is a good idea as the capacitors are probably not good after 25 years. You will also find the new towers to have more emphasis in the highs. Some people are put off by this but with my aged ears I find the crisp emphasis in the highs pleasing.

No. I just retired a pair of Klipschorn corner horn speakers I've had since 1973. The Klipschorns would put out 110 db at 1 watt input power. I used a 15 watt Trends class T amp for the old Klipschorns. These tower speakers will not come near that efficiency and they will not go with your Forte II. These new towers are great, especially when used with the Klipsch powered subwoofer. But they are not compatible in efficiency with the older Klipsch 3-way horn systems. You're gonna need a bigger amp.

Do I still need a sub woofer? Of course adding one will be in the future but space is limited right now.
They are pretty satisfying for most listening tastes and needs without a subwoofer. But if you are a pure audiophile and want to listen to 20-foot organ pedal notes or blow the walls out with pop music bass, you will eventually get the powered subwoofer. But these will satisfy you for now. Best advice is to go to the Best Buy store and listen to a live setup and switch the subwoofer in and out for yourself. That's how I made my decision. Wait for a sale.

Would these support Dolby atmos?
Yes. From the Owner's Manual page 10 we read this: "This unit is equipped with a decoder that supports Dolby Atmos audio
format. The placement or movement of sound is accurately reproduced
by the addition of overhead speakers, enabling you to experience an
incredibly natural and realistic surround sound field." It then points to page 244 of the manual.

Can you lay these on their side without altering sound quality very much? I want to put them up on some cabinets but would have to lay them on their sides. ....?
I recently retired a pair of giant Klipschorn corner horn speakers that had to be placed in corners so that the walls would provide the remainder of the 20-foot horn. I was used to a wide-looking speaker with a wide mid-range horn. These tall tower speakers seemed weird at first because they were narrow. I had the illusion that there were two separate stages for the music. But when I closed my eyes, this feeling went away and I felt a broad sound stage. If you must have a visual clue, go ahead and mount them horizontally at ear level for a psychological visual effect of a wide sound stage. No cabinet because you need to keep the ported bass open. Put the rear ported base inward. But really, just get over it. Ignore the look of the speakers and just listen. You'll be pleased.

When I turn off the amp, the light below the on/off button stays on. Is this the way it's suppose to be?
I think you mean the light above the on/off button. When the button is green the receiver is on. When the button is red the receiver is off and its sensor is only minimally "awake" but the amp is off. When the button is red, you can use the remote to power it on. I have other devices on my audio system that don't have an on/off button so I plug all of them into a heavy duty power strip. I use it to totally power off everything overnight.

The nice thing about the Shark is that you can detach the vacuum with hose from the rotary brush and handle. Just carry the motor and tank in one hand and the hose in the other. Carpet? Wood stair is easy but if you require rotary brush, you will just have to carry the whole heavy unit up each step. But really, I don't know why anybody would carpet a stair. At most, just put a narrower carpet runner up a wood stair.
