Fast, easy, acceptable

This is actually a digital camera in a box not a scanner, but it is very fast (a couple of seconds) and the resolution is acceptable for personal use. Scanning prints instead of slides or negatives shows the margin of the print holder and every one needs to be cropped afterward. The screen is small and low resolution. All that said it is a great way to digitally archive all those photos, negs and slides in that shoebox in the closet!

Solidly holds my 32" RCA with DVD player at any desired viewing angle. Perfect for the bedroom. Not a lot of unnecessary hardware and didn't cost as much as the TV as some others do.

When wireless headphones are plugged into the Insigia tv but not turned on, I can't get sound from the tv.

This is not a function of the headphones but the TV itself. There may be an option in the audio menu to switch between TV and external speakers. You may be able to get an adapter (male RCA to female mini) jack and use an audio out on the TV which doesn't mute the speakers. If you have a surround speaker system you may find an output on your amplifier which will work.
