MacBook Pro is always a top of the line lap-top. This particular laptop does not have the retina display feature, but I have a separate MacBook Pro with the Retina display and you cannot notice a difference. The I5 processor is fast, seems to run just a fraction slower than my other MacBook with the I7 processor. This was a gift for my mother who was switching from a Dell. MacBooks have a great tutorial on how to operate it. I installed MS-Office on her new MacBook & there has been no complaints nor compatibility issues.

Negative, this Panasonic item does not come with speakers. However, this specific Panasonic 4K-UHD/BluRay player is off the charts with the quality & features that comes standard with this particular model Panasonic media-player. Honestly, Panasonic has sincerely outdone the competition with this straight up OUTSTANDING 4K-UHD player!!!!
(Now if BestBuy would start carrying Panasonic’s 4K OLED Line! They are mind blowing & everything being sold in the states right now is a distant second to these Panasonic OLED’s!!!! Panasonic had the market all sown up with their phenomenal Plasma’s, and I’m here to tell you Panasonic is back & they ain’t playing!...)
I’ve been over seas doing military contract work & have been able to pick up one of these expensive but oh so worth it “beauties” from Panasonic. I’m hoping that they will soon be for purchasing in the U.S. soon! Panasonic has the best & only true 4k-UHD media player in the U.S. now all we need is that outstanding Panasonic OLED! Lastly, I’m all honesty even their 4K-UHD LED/LCD models are dynamic as well!
(Panasonic even has plans on releasing an 8K-UHD test-demo model for 2018, they are currently developing their own “THX” content for it, due to the fact that 8K would have zero material to view but it’s pretty stellar that their not raising the bar their pole-vaulting with it....

Can a Sony 4K tv be Calibrated?
I just ran into this same issue. I just had my Sony XBR850B calibrated, and there is no internal menus that a user cannot access. So in my honest opinion it was not worth the money. My personal settings were already close to being perfect to having optimal dynamic range.
Yes, the TV can be calibrated but it's nothing that you cannot do on your own, with your own eyes....
