Wish it had a bit more capacity, but by any measure, it's a battery. It works on the solo as intended. Problem really is the charger, which is somewhat slow for these batteries.

This is a 5 star product at this point, if the gimbal was available. Without the gimbal it is pretty useless (other than a great toy for flying around). Initially it had some bugs that were rectified through a software update, and current indication is that a future update will address the remaining hickups. It flys great. DJI is catching up though, but if you want upgradability and potentially a way to hack and expand your drone, this is likely the best you can buy at this point.

Works well but it's not V2

You would think that when you order this unite today, you would get the V2 version which has been on sale for quite some time, but you would be mistaken. While the switch works great (for the money), it is not the latest version. If you are OK with getting V1, then this is a great buy. I use this with LAG to get extra speed on Synology, OSX, and WIN machines

What is "rolling shutter" and is this a problem with the 4K video of this camera?
I suggest you check youtube for examples on rolling shutter, but to answer your question: this camera has VERY NOTICEABLE and very bad rolling shutter in 4K, far more so that other cameras capable of recording 4k internally, or externally.

Yes, the 2010 model uses standard 3.5inch drives, so you can simply replace the existing HD with this SSD. If you upgrade to El Capitan, you can also use the TRIM functionality provided by this SSD (recommended!!)

can I run wireless router without going through a computer
wireless routers are standalone. They don't need computers. If you talk about configuring one without a computer (as in setting up), you need to get one that offers a mobile client for smartphones/tablets (assuming you have one of these at hand). Most current Netgear and Asus models offer this functionality.

want to buy router to work in our 2800 square foot home upstairs and down stairs
Depends on where you place the router, but newer AC-type models work well. I think the ASUS AC1900 is a great buy, and should probably work well (needs AC-capable devices for best performance).

The Network extender uses your OWN INTERNET CONNECTION at home, so the speed is largely dependent on your internet connection. You can get the appropriate extender from Verizon (or use a third party extender which basically adds an antenna outside your home and uses the cell-towers). That might get you the speed you want, but also means that you still must have a strong tower/signal outside of your home that is capable of delivering you 1.3mbits (which over 3G might be a problem on CDMA).
