I HAVE HAD AN IPHONE 4-5-6-6S PLUS, ALL HAVE HAD AN OTTERBOX DEFENDER SERIES CASE ON THEM. THE PROTECTION IS THE BEST, NO IT IS NOT WATERPROOF, BUT IN MY OPINION ANY WATER PROOF CASE IN NOT WORTH THE DECLINE IN SOUND AND HOW HARD IT IS TO HEAR YOUR INCOMING CALLS. An ipad air 2 is much to valuable to just put a cheap case around it. You need a product that will take a bounce on the corners if you drop your ipad, without cracking it, and you also need a built in plastic screen protector. Otter box is the best product for the value, Ipads - tablets - phones I have them all and they are all wrapped in otterboxes, there is not a better product for overall protection. You will find cheaper but you get what you pay for.

I was able to purchase this tv on sale for 210 bucks, and what a great deal, the tv / dvd combo television are not that easy to come buy without spending 400 plus and getting a name brand really high res tv. 720 res works great for me, and the picture quality is excellent. The built in dvd player is just a bonus and it works great.

I was happy to find a computer that would give up a little unneeded space on the hard drive, in my opinion 750 is enough for daily use, and give an AMD A8 processor with a standard laptop. This will work great for browser gaming, and streaming with no problem. 300 is a good price point for this computer.

The laptop is of good quality, the backets that hold the screen can take some abuse. 1TB of hard drive is pretty standard in todays market. I will say the computer is of good value because the 250 dollar or less computer do not have all the hook ups or features people need for daily use. I would like to see 6GB of memory standard at this price point, but that is not here yet (but its coming soon).

If you are looking at overall price vs. quality let me tell you that a network cord is not a place to "save money" the cord is of good quality and can be bent into small locations without damaging the interior. It also has a superior hook up jack for those who are plugging and unplugging alot, you will want a rocketfish cable.

is this a good tv to use as a monitor
Works great as a monitor. I have a mac mini and use the hdmi slot for a 21 IN screen and the video output with hdmi adapter to this 32 IN smart tv. I can use them together or seperatly, have found streaming to work better from the mac than thru the netflix app built in to the tv. Email and games on one screen and netflix on the other. Done.

Can I use a wireless keyboard?
Yes, you can hook wireless keyboard and mouse to this tv. Take into consideration that any television interface works best with a direct connection to your internet line using a cat 5 ethernet cord, they are a bit sluggish if your are using wifi to search the internet or stream from netflix or hulu. For me i have this smart tv high off the ground so i only use wifi connection, and the lack of speed is ok for me as i would rather not have any cords hanging.

And why are Samsung TVs so much more expensive?
You get what you pay for my man. Samsung products have various levels of quality like all brands do, but you will find that your tech devices of name brand will last longer and the components are more durable. I am still using a Samsung 50inch Plasma flat screen tv from 2008. Have had every device known to man plugged into this thing and all the hdmi and internet jacks are in good work condition. This thing is (old and top heavy) by today's terms, and the base is still strong and rotates with ease. I continue to purchase Samsung because i have never had any other brand last as long.

If this product has apps what are they
No, my friend only "smart" tvs have apps. This is a 720 resolution tv with a built in dvd player only. No smart tv interface, but you can still connect to it with your computer, or streaming devices like roku or chromecast or apple tv thru the connection ports provided. ( which will get you all the apps you need )
