I've never had Lifeproof cases till I tried this one and I have to say I was kinda disappointed. I understand that in order to make the case waterproof you have to have the covering over the speaker for your ear for when you're on the phone, but it greatly diminishes the quality of sound coming out of the speaker. It vibrated and sounded like everyone was trying to talk through a piece of cellophane. It also made the external speaker sound pretty bad too. It's ok if you can deal with that and also don't have a phone with a removable battery because it is such a pain to take off the phone to switch the battery pack (like on the LG G5 I had the lifeproof on), or to attach any accessories. If you plan on just leaving the phone in the case then it's definitely a durable case.
Experience a new way of using your smartphone with the LG G5 smartphone from Verizon. The LG G5 is partially modular and features a slide-out battery that can be swapped out for a camera grip with a larger battery to power the flash. The LG G5 smartphone comes in a sleek titanium finish and sports an advanced, wide-angle camera system.
THe LG-G5 is an excellent phone. I've had Samsungs for years and after reading the reviews between the G5 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 I found the G5 had just slightly better reviews. The camera is amazing!! Takes super crisp pictures and takes them quickly. The operating system runs smooth and fast, faster than my brand new laptop does. I also love that you have a removable battery. I did have a problem with the power button though. After a day or two, and after a few hours of working fine, I couldn't wake up the screen no matter what I did. There were a couple other tiny little nuances that I liked better on the Samsungs than on the G5 like the back and home buttons, and the phone was slightly larger than I would like. Because of the power button issues I exchanged the phone and decided to go ahead and go back to a Samsung which I am used to. However if you are an LG person this is definitely the phone for you!
