Now here's a movie that benefited from HDR. Especially the Krypton sequences. The colors of the planet, and when it blew up really grabbed you. Simply made an already great movie even better.

I haven't seen this movie in years, but I was excited to see it again. You could tell it was Director Paul Verhoeven's work. Very much in the vein of the original Robocop. Being remastered in 4K is like when you put a fresh coat of paint on a house. It looks new again even though it's the same. Loved it!!

I haven't watched this movie in 20 years, but I've always loved it. So when It came out in 4K, there was no question. And of course, very happy. Besides being great to see it again, the 4K HDR was amazing. The entire sequence at Devils Rock, WY was excellent. All the colors of the alien ships early on and at the Meet-n-Greet were beautiful. The colors in the sky, in the clouds were mesmerizing.

I loved this movie. It's clean, fun, and the actors all did a fantastic job. I've watched it 3 times now. Once in the theater, and twice since buying it (that's twice in a row). I love it that much. Can't wait for the Justice League. The 4K HDR on this is exquisite. The blacks are deep, the colors pop when they're supposed to. Sooo good!!

While a little slow getting started (not action, that was immediate). The story did pick up, and was very good. The acting was well done (but then again, when is Scarlet Johansson not good). The special effects were second to none. Bought it as a "blind buy" (hadn't seen it yet), and I wasn't disappointed.

Ok, I know many adults think that they Lego movies are just for kids, and yes there are a couple of overly schmaltzy parts (especially in the first one), but like many cartoons in the 30's, 40's and 50's (i.e. Bugs Bunny), there is tons of "adult" content that would just go over a child's head. Anyway, this one was hilarious. The script was well written, and the voice acting was well done. Finally, the 4K was again stunning. If you're lucky to have an HDR TV, then you'll be blown away.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the film in theaters, but waiting for the 4K release was worth it. First the film itself was excellent! Great story, unique perspective, and good acting. The creatures were different, and the idea of leaving Kong on the island, was a nice change of pace. As for the 4K, and Dolby Atmos sound, WOW!!! The picture was stunning, the sunset blew me away. And the surround for creature moving about, and the explosions was fantastic. Each passing year, the home theater experience just gets that much better, and this movie proves it.

Granted the Bourne series isn't made specifically 4K, but none the less it looks stunning. The darks are very dark, and makes any other colors stand out. The picture is clear as a bell. I want everything to be released in 4K.

I always tend to like movies where someone with a colorful past end up being the hero, and turns good. This is one, and Matt Damon did an excellent job! I think this is the first time I've seen him make a "monster" movie, and was pleasantly surprised. All the acting was good, and the effects were great. Very enjoyable movie.

Ok, this is Sony's first 4K player, and it has bugs that they are working out. That being said, I gave it 5 stars anyway, but it plays perfectly, the remote it GREAT, and the 4K picture from 4K movies is fantastic. If you have an HDR TV, then you will really see a great difference. I had the Samsung first 4K player, and it needs work as well, but the picture was excellent. But moving to the Sony with HDR playing on a Sony, Android, HDR TV made a noticeable difference. Very impressed. Now they just need to work out some kinks with apps on the "smart" side of the player, and it will be perfect all around. Like I said, the 4K is spectacular, and therefore deserves the 5 star because I know they will get everything else up to speed in time.
