This is my 5th robot vacuum, over multiple brands, and it's everything I've wanted since the first one. The addition of a self emptying stick vacuum is brilliant and adding the ability to store all the nozzles and pieces in one contained unit puts it over the top. We have a golden retriever so this thing gets used daily and it has not disappointed once.
The App:
This was fairly easy for the set-up process and straight-forward. It did take some poking around and trial and error to find the right settings, but I was able to figure it out after not long. The biggest thing for me was doing the mapping run, which only took about 15 minutes for the first floor. The trouble I had was trying to find a way to edit the map and add boundary restrictions so it wouldn't go on an area rug that is hand woven and can't have a beater brush used. Also for the dog bowl area. I was able to get that done eventually but it could be a little more intuitive and the first run after I added a restricted zone, the robot entered it but then wouldn't leave it because of the boundaries! I adjusted it slightly and no problems since. So just some trial and error and I recommend watching the robot on the first run to make sure it's not going where you don't want it to go.

After it's done with it's run, it goes back home, empties the dirty water and empties the dust bin. With all the sensors and lidar, the robot does a perfect job of tracing the outline of the cleaning area first to get everything away from the wall, then it fills in the map as it goes throughout the room in a thorough manner. Also, when it gets back to base, it cleans the mop pads and then has a warm air dryer to dry them off. They really thought of everything with this one!

Very nice handheld with good suction, 2 speeds, an LED battery indicator and the usual attachments. As I mentioned, they store in a drawer neatly tucked away under the handheld's dock. After cleaning, you just return the handheld to it's base and it will self empty into the base station's bag. My only 2 wishes for the stick would be: 1) the ability to turn off the brush head and 2) that it was hidden a little better, possibly with a second holster so you could take off the top piece of the tubing and have it side by side with the bottom section vs sticking up in the air. Neither is anything I would deduct from the rating for because most vacuum's don't let you turn the brush off and you don't need to store the stick there if you don't want to.

Absolutely love this keypad! I travel a lot for work and this is the perfect companion to my laptop for getting work done when on the road. At an airport, in a hotel room, or at the office, this works for all my needs.
Aside from it being extremely lightweight and thin, it has no plug in USB extension so it won't take up any ports. It connects via Bluetooth by holding down the Tab button for a few seconds. Super easy and clean.
The keypad is lightweight and slim but the travel of the keys and responsiveness is perfect. Overall build quality is great and I have had no problems with this. As someone who works with numbers, this is essential. Highly recommend as a gift to a friend or family member and have already recommended to multiple coworkers as a stocking stuffer.
Overall, this is a simple solution to a glaring problem with smaller, business laptops, which is the lack of a number pad. This has been the perfect solution and I highly recommend it to anyone who has a smaller laptop but wants the full number pad experience. The ability to pair via Bluetooth vs a USB port is a huge plus.

I have been playing Microsoft Flight Simulator for 30yrs, and in that time I have had multiple HOTAS setups, and also used an XBOX controller for simple flights. The Turtle Beach Velocity One Flight Deck is by far the best HOTAS I have used.
The controls feel premium and realistic, with the throttle allowing for split control and vibration feedback on both throttle and stick. The touchscreen on the throttle is amazing for customizing certain controls for each game and each setup (MSFS, Fighter Jets, Space, etc). You can also use the TB software to customize lighting for each setup. My personal preference is the Space setting for lighting but it's something you can have fun with.
The HUD on the stick is a nice addition and the flight stick is extremely smooth and responsive. The weight of each units means you won't need to bolt them down or worry about the base tipping with the movement. The stick twists for rudder function and the scroll wheel for trim adjustments is a welcome addition.
All the hat switches and buttons on this unit make it a daunting task to set-up. It's advertised as being plug and play with MSFS 2020, but it's not. The game recognizes the hardware but there are no presets. However, I'm not dinging TB here because after talking to their support team, the pre mapped buttons should show up in the next update (currently expected March 26, 2024). Yes, it would have been great if they were there at launch, but that's partially on the MSFS developers. I programmed some basics for now but look forward to the mapping and then tweaking a few settings to my liking.
The one thing I wish TB hadn't done was to make this 2 separate USB cables, both with USB A connections. My Alienware M18 laptop only has 1 USB A port and I suspect most newer computers have 1 with more USB C connectors. Fortunately I have an adapter but be aware of this.
Overall, I absolutely love this HOTAS system and look forward to years of enjoyment with it. The level of customization is outstanding and it feels like a premium product, punching well above it's price point. Definitely recommend this to gamers and simulator enthusiasts.

This laptop is like a Range Rover. When it works, it's amazing. Games look great, you can run at the top specs of just about anything you throw at it, the keys are fast and responsive. And the looks, Alienware has always had that part on lock.
The problem is, anytime I open the lid to turn the laptop on, the keyboard lights up, the Alienware logo appears on the screen, but then it goes black. The camera light flashes, doing the Windows Hello thing, and I can hear the chimes for the login. But the screen is black, and I can't do anything other than hold down the power button and force a restart. Then when it restarts, it says that Performance Mode is disabled due to the unexpected restart, so I need to do another restart using the Start menu. It's maddening and a waste of time.
If you're ok with that type of performance in a laptop at this price, then you will be happy with it during the times that it's working correctly. If you don't want to deal with that, then I would skip this until they can figure out the problems. Hopefully there will be an update that fixes it, but it's looking like I might have to do a full system wipe and re-install Windows and everything else. Huge PITA and I don't even know if that will fix it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wow! Those 3 simple letters pretty much sum up the DJI Mini 4 Pro! I have been flying quads and drones for almost 10 years and this is far and away the best small quad/drone I have ever flown. This is my 3rd DJI product and every time I get a new one, I am amazed at the innovations and technology that they can put into this tiny package. The Mini 4 Pro comes with full, all-around obstacle avoidance and a camera that supports vertical video. Yes, it will shoot up! Combine that with the 4k 60fps camera and you will get some epic shots with a drone small enough to easily carry anywhere you go. The package comes with a nice carrying bag that has soft dividers and pockets to transport the drone, remote, batteries, charger, and cable. But with the way this folds up, you wouldn’t mind putting it in your normal backpack or even just carrying it in a hoodie pocket if you’re going out for some quick video shots.
The ultra-lightweight nature of this drone means that you can potentially avoid paying the $5 FAA registration fee. However, you will still need to complete the basic TRUST test, which is free. Also, if you go with the package that includes the larger batteries, the total weight DOES go just over the FAA limit, so I still recommend just doing the full registration. Better to be safe than sorry, especially considering the low cost. Regardless, you should put some kind of identifier on your drone, whether it’s the FAA number you’re assigned, or your phone number. That way if it goes down, someone can (hopefully) contact you to retrieve it.
I flew this drone in calm weather and again when there was some light wind. Nothing bothered it, although I would caution that this drone, and most drones, are not weatherproof, so no flying in precipitation. If directed, the drone held its position and the cameras gimble kept the picture smooth during movement. Obstacle avoidance (in daylight) is accurate and extremely useful, although it may not have time to react if you’re doing sport mode going full speed towards a thin tree branch, just a word of caution.
My favorite feature with the Mini 4, compared to prior versions, is the built-in screen on the controller. It is so refreshing to not have to hook it up to a phone with a cable and it just looks so much cleaner. This has been included on larger, more expensive drones, but having it on something this accessible is incredible. It makes me want to fly more and use it more due to the convenience.
Overall, I think the new Mini 4 Pro is the best compact drone on the market today. The video quality is incredible. The ease of use makes this an option for pros and beginners. You will want one or more high-quality micro-SD cards since this only comes with 2GB of internal storage. This is standard for most drones and most people will already have some on hand. There is a USB-C port for easy and fast data transfers to your computer, but I would still recommend at least a 128GB card to avoid unnecessary swapping or, worse, running out of storage when filming something awesome.
I highly recommend the DJI Mini 4 Pro to anyone, expert or beginner. The package gives you the controller with the built-in screen and larger batteries for extended flight time over the standard batteries. These add-ons are worth every penny, and you will not regret doing the package.
Home run from DJI!

This watch band is a nice change of pace from the rubber band that comes with the Apple Watch. I also have a leather band and black stainless steel bands depending on the occasion or the look I'm going for. This nylon band is extremely lightweight and breathable. It connects easily but I had to flip it around the other way after trying it on because the buckle was in an awkward position after tightening it.
My only complaint with this really is that it's awkward to adjust the tightness while keeping the watch in place, so it usually requires a couple of adjustments. The nylon also keeps slipping in the buckle during the day, so it requires occasional re-tightening. Also, when it loosens up the watch moves and doesn't register as being worn until you fix it.
Overall, it's a nice, lightweight band that would probably be great in the summer with a casual outfit. I'm not sure I'll use it often, but it really depends on what your tastes are and what you're looking for. It is made with quality materials so for the price it's a good value.

This is now my third iRobot Roomba over the years, and my second one was an upgrade over the first in terms of features. Despite this being the newer model, it's lacks one of the simple features I loved on the last one. That was the ability to go on the map and designate areas at "No Go". I tried to use room dividers to replicate that feature but it doesn't really work. That's the only reason I took a star off. If they bring that back in a firmware update, this is 5 stars.
Overall, it does a good job cleaning and this is my first Roomba with the self emptying bin, so I absolutely love that feature! We have a golden retriever so the robot runs daily and it was always slightly frustrating to have to empty the bin every single day. Once this runs it's cycle, it goes back to the dock, there's about 5 seconds of a really loud noise, and that's it, bin empty. I've done a few spot checks on it and it gets the bin spotless. So it may be loud for a few seconds, but it's working.
The mop feature is nice, but kind of half baked on this model. Higher models have a robotic arm that deploys for mopping and can do both things at once. I don't expect that here with a more modest price point, and it's nice that iRobot was able to find a solution that fits more budgets. But I go back to the "no go" zones and inability to keep the robot out of certain places. I can tell it to just mop the kitchen, but I can't stop it from going over air vents or near the dog bowl. It does a decent job but I don't know that it's something we'll use often due to the setup/takedown time.
I would recommend this to anyone that has more basic needs for vacuuming with the self emptying option for ease of use. If you're looking for one that can self mop, navigate around obstacles, and be virtually autonomous, there are more expensive models that will fill that need. The iRobot brand is the standard for robot vacuums, so you won't be disappointed no matter which one you get.

Great Smart lock and upgrade from older models

This was an upgrade from my older Nest x Yale smart lock, so the installation was very easy due to the many similarities. The size of the newer Assure Lock 2's inside portion is roughly half the size of the older Nest x Yale it replaced. The exterior pad is about the same size, but the shape and style give it a sleeker, more modern look.
The two biggest features I was looking forward to with this unit were the fingerprint sensor and the ability to use a physical key. If the batteries died while we were away, it's good to know we still have an option to open the deadbolt. The Yale app is required to setup the lock, update the firmware and register entry codes and fingerprints. The fingerprint setup didn't go smoothly and based on the errors, the app said to do a factory reset and start over from scratch. Slightly annoying, but the second time it worked perfectly. Being able to quickly open the lock when we get back from dog walks is super helpful.
Overall, this is a great smart lock if it's your first, and if you have an older Yale Assure or Nest x Yale, I definitely recommend the upgrade. The Nest app is more intuitive than Yale, but it's slowly being discontinued by Google and there didn't seem to be a plan to include the lock in the new Google Home app. So if you were holding out on upgrading just because of Nest, don't wait any longer. You can add this to your Home app and use Google Assistant which adds more future proofing than the prior lock.

I'm usually skeptical of these types of devices, but given the Therabody name, and my love for our Theragun, I decided to give it a shot. My finace and I have both been using this for over a week and we are both impressed with the results. Both of us have noticed smoother skin and she has had improvement in a few breakouts. The vibration aspect of this mask is a further benefit that helps with headaches and just overall relaxation while doing your treatment.
The adjustable straps, which also contain massage elements, holds the mask firmly in place. The included eye guard means I'm able to wear the mask and do my treatment while doing other things. I usually do my treatment in the morning while I'm sitting at my computer working. You'll need the eye guards in place to do this, otherwise you need to keep your eyes closed without the guard.
Being able to run through the 9min cycle with the press of a button is helpful. But you can also select a specific mode (Red Light, Red + Infrared, or Blue Light) depending on what you're looking to do. You can even do a 15min vibration only treatment if you're just trying to de-stress or relieve a headache.
This is definitely not an inexpensive purchase, but it is a well built and designed light therapy mask with features not found in other masks on the market. The 648 LEDs that can all emit all three wavelengths exceeds the competition and gives a better treatment. The vibration aspect adds to the overall benefits this mask provide.
If you're looking for a light therapy mask to add to your routine, this is the one to get. Highly recommended by both of us!

Amazing earbuds with ANC and Immersive Audio!

Coming from the Bose QC35 Headphones, followed by the Bose QC Earbuds, I was really excited when these were announced. Coming from the first gen earbuds, the form factor on these is closer to the 2nd gen. They sit great in the ear and there are multiple tips included from L to Small to fit a wide range of ears. Once you think you have the fit you want, you can run the check in the app to make sure you have a good seal. These are very lightweight and extremely comfortable to wear for hours at a time. The fin that runs along one edge helps stabilize them and keep them firmly in place without being obtrusive.
Of course, Bose is legendary for the ANC and these live up to the reputation. They are highly effective at blocking outside noise in full ANC mode, but you can adjust how much ANC you want in the app. Going for walks or doing yard work, it's helpful to not completely drown out the world. It's just nice to have full control over what you want out of your headphones. And the sound is incredible! Signature lows that Bose is known for, but clear and precise highs and mids make these great for listening to all types of music. You can also adjust the EQ or rely on the headphones to use their algorhythm to give you the perfect audio experience.
Speaking of sound, let's talk about Immersive Audio. You can leave this off, put it in Still mode or let it move with you. It widens the sound stage and is a great new feature. Listening to music or watching movies and hearing the sound move as you move your head is really cool and adds a whole new dimension to listening. Phone calls were clear on both ends and a big improvement from my 1st gen buds.
Overall, I have zero complaints about these earbuds. They have a premium design and feel with killer sound quality (audio and phone). ANC is outstanding as always with Bose and the case is a great size and shape for throwing it into a backpack, purse or even your front pocket. You get 6hrs on full charge with ANC active (4hrs if using Immersive Audio) and the case holds 3 full charges. 20min gets you 2hrs worth of listening time. These are going to go down as one of the best earbuds of 2023, if not the best.
I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a new pair of earbuds with ANC. Is it worth upgrading if you already have the Bose QC Earbuds 2? That's up to you and your wallet. There's definitely some upgrades here and the immersive audio experience is amazing. Coming from the Gen 1 earbuds, this is a big upgrade and I would say it's definitely worth it!

Improve your audio experience with this Samsung three-channel soundbar. I own a Vizio 50" (Model #M50-C1) 4K Ultra HD LED TV. My question is will this soundbar work with my TV? Based on the reviews, this seems like an awesome sound bar.
I don't see why not. You TV has an HDMI (ARC) port and an optical audio output. Either method would work just fine. The HDMI (ARC) connection is preferred because it will have the soundbar turn on when the TV is turned on and off when you turn it off. It also allows the TV remote to control the soundbar level.
