I wanted a large cap USB drive to attach to my Netgear router Readyshare port. I tried two other 4TB drives, another WD, and a Seagate, but neither was recognized. This seems to be a common issue with Readyshare. This WD portable works perfectly, and a plus - it is powered by the USB port. I haven't done any performance tests, but I'm using it for backup and photo storage mostly.

I bought this adapter after getting a new Lenovo T460 laptop for work. I use 3 monitors, but the T460 does not have a VGA port like my old laptop. This allows me to connect 3rd monitor to USB 3.0 port on my dock.

Added a TV to my daughter's room & needed another cable feed. I already had a 4-way splitter installed & was a bit concerned about signal loss... but no problem, just added this on one of the outputs from the 4-way and all TVs work fine, perfect HD picture. This is with Cablevision in NJ.

Got this machine when our Little Green broke. Went for the larger machine because I wanted to do the whole floor, and this has the same hand wand as the Little Green, for not too much more cost.
Setup was a little confusing but not too bad... took about 15 minutes.
Using it is same as similar machines - add 5 oz. cleaner, fill with water, put tank on machine and go. But, it is hard to push, and I don't think my wife would be able to handle it. Does a decent job, similar to results I've gotten with rented machine from the supermarket. Based on the water that comes out, it does remove a lot of dirt. Emptying the tank is easy - lift off, unclip the top and dump in toilet. But, when all done and time to put away, I've found there are a lot of carpet fibers stuck in the intake. The intake assembly unclips and comes off for easy cleaning, but there is still some stuff that is stuck in there - you need to take it apart by removing 8 phillips screws to really clean it out. Still, this is easier than other machines I've owned. One option missing is the ability to do hard floors - but machines with that feature cost $50 more. I haven't tried the hand attachment yet.
