I have been an Apple customer for quite some time. We were in need of a laptop for my wife school assignments. We decided that $1k+ is a ridiculous amount to spend on a laptop, again. So looking at Best Buy's laptops, we started with a budget of $300 and saw the quality and quickly decided to up our budget. We then ran into this bad boy of a laptop on the open box/used cage area. It was looking rough when we saw it and the Rep told us that the laptop was retailed for $849. It was selling for $467.99. We got it for $503 with tax. He even removed all the stickers and cleaned it up... looks practically brand new. Never been happier. Apple version with identical specs values at $1,999. It's a no brainer.

This was a decent phone but lacked in few areas. Got a 6 inch screen with "HD" 720p resolution. Also, the speaker was poor. Had to raise the volume to max volume to sound just as loud the iPhone on mid volume. The Blur OS is very annoying at the beginning. Have to slide bubble to the unlock, then opens the actual unlock screen. Very annoying. Even after removing that feature, the unlock code is over the mid screen and have to use to hands to input code. I guess that's the consequence of a huge screen. It's a good phone if you really don't care, but it's hard for me to adjust. Good thing is, I inserted an SD card and give me an option to used SD card as internal storage. One big plus.

How do you know which SIM card to buy? Currently we have different phones on GSM and another on CDMA. We are thinking about using it with Tracfone. They said they support either one.
Is does support both. The SIM card has to be a Macro SIM. Don't worry if you have a Nano SIM, the tiny one. The phone comes with an adapter installed int the SIM slot under the back cover.

Yes. If you have a SIM card you can insert it to the Moto G 4. If yours is a Nano SIM, the very tiny one, the Moto G 4 comes with an adapter inside.

As of 7-22-2016 you still get the gift card. You can not use it towards the phone. You will receive it after the is made.

No it will not. If you get the Amazon Prime version, then it will. BB Moto G4s will come with NO advertising. I own one from BB.

Will the Moto G (4th Gen.) Unlocked - Black - 16GB - HAVE A HOTSPOT? Will it come with a Verizon SIM card?
It does support hotspot if you have a hotspot plan with your provider. It can be used with Verizon but you will need to activate a SIM card to another smartphone first them insert that SIM card to the Moto G4 and it should work.
