Replacement for stock head unit

Needed to upgrade my stock stereo since it had been skipping and randomly shutting off for the last 2 years. Bought it on sale during Black Friday, and had it installed via Geek squad. The install was professionally done, and the technician was extremely cool to deal with. Purchased the faceplate, along with the additional wiring, from another site. Bought this based on the reviews, and since it was an open box and a lower price, I figured I could use another charging dock for home as well as one for the road. I rather enjoy having more USB options available to connect to my Surface-- it does make life easier and nicer or charging and peripheral options. I will agree with other reviewers that it is a bit strange to have a block attached to another block that's attached to the Surface, but at least it provides some distance from the power plug, and there isn't a massive amount of weight hanging off of the side of the Surface.

Went to the gym, and was about to get my workout on when my earbuds were making some weird connection depending on how I turned my head. Great. I don't have time for this. Finished said workout, and promptly wound up in the Best Buy on my way home for a super quick purchase. Found a BB employee and needed to know what would be the best purchase that didn't have any more wires that would get all contorted for the same problem later on, and he suggested Plantronics. After a few months of use, these are really good. They put up very well with the amount of sweating that I do, and still allow for quality sound transmission. There's just enough of an allowance for background noise to allow me to hear my radio go off when I'm at work at the firehouse, and in the gym.

It's a decent keyboard that makes life easier for typing stuff on the Surface Pro-- like this review. It has it's connection issues-- at one point, the keys were sticking and not typing correctly for whatever reason, but it does the job of a screen cover and keyboard all the same. If you can find this product as an open box? Get the open box, despite the color. It'll save you some bucks.

a tablet that's easier for travel use

I bought this In hopes that I could use it to enter reports for the online web patient care reports for work. In actuality, I couldn't do this, but it has proven useful in taking signatures an storing them for profiles, note taking, and as a make shift scanner. It is nice not having to wait for the boot up lag of a laptop, it's a lot lighter, and more mobile than a laptop, as well.
While there may be a LOT of argument for an Apple product, the Apple products do NOT have a pen feature or any other storage expansion capabilities. There may also be complaints that an Apple is "easier" to use and has less bugs. HOWEVER, I have yet to find ANY new technology that hasn't reset on its own or gone buggy in my ownership of the product.
