save your money, calibrate your tv

I've had geek squad calibrate my 55" $5000 dollar Samsung uhd and a $5500 65" sony oled (years apart). Both the highest end tv possible at the time, got the tvs calibrated and the picture just got better and better. they looked amazing out of the box, and just breath taking after calibration. the colors look more realistic.
if you don't have cash to burn, get a good valued tv with good technology (i.e.,backlight, FALD, whatever) and get the tv calibrated. don't spring extra money for the "better" upscaler or color processor. calibrate your basic decent tv and bask in its glory.

Did all my research, spent 10s of hrs looking for speakers, both in magnolia and a premium audio store local (too expensive). Absolutely love these speakers. the built in subs and dbbs are incredible. loved these over the MartinLogan (because it had too much of a sweet spot). and didn't go with b&w top of the line because I don't sit around and just listen to music, more of a tv and movie guy. don't get me wrong, sounds great for music. amazing customer service. easy setup. no need for subwoofer cables but you do want to give these babies enough power. Im doing with a pioneer 502, but if youre not looking to spend 3 grand (like I wasn't) then definitely go with a d3 amplifier. don't buy for the built in atmos speakers, they're garbage. would prefer a biamp ability over atmos, but sooo much better than the 9060s.

Idk why it's a PowerLine 1200...it only supports a gigabit connection. So.. More like PowerLine 1000...and after further testing, you only really get any 450mbs. But that's more than enough to game online. Xbox too far away from premium router (ac3200)

I bought a smart tv Roku July 2017. The picture went out in November 2017. Everything else sound and internet menu works. Can this issue be fixed?

I have a Sony Projector that has never been professionally calibrated with pro equipment.. does this "TV" calibration also go for Projectors? Is the equipment non-screen touching and up to date? I have a screen that should not be touched
they can definitely calibrate your projector....but when they calibrated mine they used a spectrometer or whatever and that had to be placed against the screen. If you go into the store to set up calibration just have a blue shirt call their local calibration agent (there's usually only 1 or 2 in an area).

What is the best TV pitchure, Spectrum, Direct TV, AT & T, or What?
literally, directv. by about 33% last time I saw the specs. less compression and more information coming to your receiver. also the signal gets less corrupted versus any cable company bc as the signal goes from them to your cable box it loses a lot of packet info from such a long cable run. dish is worse than directv. dtv also has 4k and the best customer service ive experienced by a tv service provider.

Can you do 65 oled b7a calibrate will it make a difference?do you do uhd 4k Dolby vision hdr?
they can calibrate oleds, ive had mine calibrated. TOTALLY worth it. 100% recommend. what you want to do when youre setting up the appointment is ask them the equipment theyre using and research that to make sure it's proper for oled and hdr (I don't think DV HDR calibration tech is public yet). The blue shirt isn't going to know, make him or his home theater sup to get on the phone with the calibration agent (there's usually only 1 or 2 in an area) and get them to find out. they'll also calibrate your audio as well while youre out there, just mention you want that when youre setting up the appointment so the agent knows to schedule additional time.

yes they calibrate projectors. also calibrate your surround sound for free while theyre there.
