This service is just what I needed. I’m not very tech savvy, so to have a subject matter expert come to my house and give advice on my current equipment and make recommendations on needed equipment was very helpful. Rep was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. It wasn’t high pressure and he didn’t try to talk me into buying anything. He left there without me making any purchases, and was totally cool with that. And, yes, it really is free!!
I am very brand loyal to Best Buy and buy pretty much all my electronics there, so I ended up making several recommended purchases a couple weeks later. He left his cell number so he was available for consult even after the fact.
My only criticism was that he recommended a much more expensive system than I needed. I was looking to boost my WiFi, so he recommended the Velop system for $500. I ended up buying the google system for almost half that cost.
Overall a great experience and excellent idea from Best Buy!

Small speaker=small sound

If you're looking for a small, pocket-sized, portable Bluetooth speaker that doesn't need to be super loud, then this should be right up your alley. For starters, it was much smaller than I anticipated. That's great for portability; not so great for crankability. While it will suffice for taking to the library, beach, bike ride, or your room where your listening distance is no greater than ten feet, you'll be happy. If you want to play it at a party, or in another room while your in the shower, or while you're playing floor hockey, then you may want to look for something better/bigger/louder. Cute little speaker, but sound is easily lost. I can't NOT recommend it across the board, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for room-filling sound. If you just want something to throw in your pocket or backpack while walking across campus, then this will do the trick nicely.

It works. It really works! I figured it would charge a phone or tablet, which it did on my iPhone 5s. But start a car? I was skeptical. I bought this for fishing and hunting trips I take where you'd be seriously stranded if your battery died. This would be a great option...if it worked.
A month after I got it, my brother's battery died on his Mercury Montego...like dead dead...like it wouldn't crank once, just clicks. I brought this charger over there and it actually started his car! I read the claims, but to actually see it work was all it took to make me a believer.
It's a little big and bulky to just use as a phone charger. If that's what you're looking for, I'd get something smaller. But if you're going to throw it in your truck for a week in Canada or just keep it around for emergencies, it's perfect!
