Rugged, as promised, and multi-functional

Previously I owned a Zagg-keys Folio keyboard. It was slim & I liked it but the hinge broke after a little over a year.
I've had this one for a few weeks and compared it with the Targus Versatype.
They are similar in many ways but, though this one is thicker, I like the feel of it better and have chosen the Zagg Rugged over the Targus. The iPad fits snugly into a cushioned frame, which gives more protection. Also, I like being able to easily detach the iPad section from the keyboard and use it as a tablet.
I'm hoping the hinge lasts longer than my previous one - it looks as if it is more sturdy.

Rugged & functional

I've wanted a good functional keybord/case for my iPad.
I've actually tested and compared this one with the Zagg Rugged. I like them both a lot & they have a lot of similar functions.
The lighted keyboard is nice along with the ability to charge my iPhone, though I'm not sure I'd ever need this function. It is a bit heavy (about the same weight as the Zagg Rugged). Despite its thickness & weight, the smooth case has a sleek feel. The rotating hinge works very well and makes it multi-functional.
One thing I didn't like is when holding it in the vertical tablet position to read, the weight makes it somewhat uncomfortable to hold for very long as it slides through my hands.
I'm planning to buy the Zagg over this one. The main difference is that the Zagg is detachable, which makes it more comfortable to hold. If I didn't have that other choice, I would definitely stick with this Targus, as it seems to be an excellent product.

Poor Coverage for iPhone repair

When I bought my iPhone at Best Buy I was assured that Geek Squad warantee was better than iPhone or Verizon coverage. But when I took it in recently because the ear speaker is not working right - after paying Geek Squad monthly fee for over 1-1/2 years, I was told they would need to replace the phone and it would cost me $150.
Well, I'm not sure what I was paying for and maybe my expectations were too high.

I don't think it will work with the iPad pro. I believe it only works for the iPad Air - at least that's the only thing the box designates it to work with.

Can I use the warranty without the receipt?
I bought one of y'all's screen protectors ( They work EXCELLENT ) but I scratched it and I have its LIFETIME warranty, just not the receipt. Can I still go in the store and get a new one for free?
I needed to return cracked screen protector. I had my receipt but wasn't asked to produce it. I was only asked where I bought it. Great service.
