The sound clarity and bass are second to none. It allows you to easily program your TV remote to work with the system.
The only caveat would be using the HDMI connection on the JBL back panel . It prevents you from watching TV (on mute) and listening to Bluetooth simultaneously. This is because JBL has a screen saver / display and when using Bluetooth, the HDMI input only shows the JBL display versus a TV channel. I decided to use the optical cord and leave my HDMI connected from my cable box to the TV and bypassed the JBL HDMI altogether.
