Great Modem / Router and works perfect!

I purchased this Modem / Router for my daughter to replace her existing unit because she kept dropping her internet connection and she was only getting about 1/2 of her advertised speed. The new Actiontec Modem / Router was a breeze to connect, configure and activate. I never even had to call CenturyLink to activate it. As soon as we had it up and running, her internet speed doubled and is faster than I ever expected. It has been a month and there is not been a single internet connection issue and she can also now stream Netflix videos to her television with no issues. The biggest surprise was how simple it was to install and activate. It comes with its own setup wizard and all you have to do is let it walk you through the painless process. All I had to do was enter her username and password and that was it. I highly recommend this product to anyone that needs a stable, robust, and reliable ADSL Modem / Router.

You may wonder what is the big deal rating a simple audio cable but this one accomplished something no other cable I tried could accomplish, that is I was able to plug this into my iPod Nano and at the same time, plug in the charger cable. The key is that this cable is advertised as a "Low Profile" cable in that the plugs on either end are not as fat as most others. This allows it to be plugged into the iPod Nano and not interfere with the Apple charging cable that plugs in right next to it. I have my iPod Nano connected to my audio system via this cable but also wanted to keep charging the Nano while I was playing it. With every other cable I tried, the plastic plugs were wider and thus did not allow room to also plug in the charger cable at the same time. This "low profile" cable did the trick. I can listen to my music from the iPod Nano through my audio system and at the same time, keep it charged and not have to worry about the battery going dead. Again, I tried several other brand cables and non allowed me to do this. Great cable and accomplished exactly what I wanted. Thank you Insignia!

I bought this to carry in the car as an emergency charger in case the battery in my phone would go dead and I needed the phone for an emergency. What else can I say, it does what it is supposed to do! I also like the fact that there is also a spare USB port with it since my car only has a single adapter plug. So I can be charging my phone and I can plug my iPod in too to charge, all at the same time.

I bought this mainly for just the battery that comes with it but for the little extra amount, it came with the charger. It works fine, charged the battery and does what it is supposed to do. It is a nice unit to have available to charge an extra battery when needed.

I bought this to replace an old DVD/VCR player and it does a fine job not only playing DVDs, but it also was easy to connect to our home network for running other media. The menus are easy to understand and prompt you when needed. For the price, it was really worth it and I am pleased I went with this unit. I had originally planned on buying a cheaper version but am now glad I went the extra dollar for this one. I may now even purchase a second unit for the den.
