I have done very well with WD before so it was worth trying at such good sale prices... I have had success with one out of four... not good! Being a 4TB unit it takes over 24 hours to securely wipe and format... not a phun process but three that would not take? I would not recommend this to anyone with a Mac...

Because of this being used for my Time Capsule back-ups it is important to have reliability... It has been wonderful so far... works everyday like they are supposed to do... We are very happy with sound and heat since we have a lot of space to place it away from the iMac... Just a note: I completely securely erased(3x overwrite) the drive before using it will my back-up software and it was worth the 26 hours invested...

I read many reviews about many chargers and this was my end choice... Very effective and nice to get white to match my XBoX... all those people whining about how it seems flimsy are wrong... they just want it to be an iPhone quality and it is just a controller charger... mine sits fine and nobody is moving it around... it has its own space and it is phine... it would not get it if i had a bunch of activity around my equipment... my kids are grown and it is just me and my wife... i love the red(charging) and green(charged) lights and have it visible so i can click to raise it up to stop the charging... it is phast and very convenient... so far the batteries(2X controllers) rock! I found this to be the best "white" controller charging system out there... have phun!
