First, they are expensive! That being said, they are very cool. Programmable to different colors to set the mood. Also can control the brightness. On the surface they sound kind of over the top. And you can have them sync with music if you want. The best syncing that we have found is with a television show (12 Monkeys) on Syfy channel. The lights change colors and dim or brighten to mimic the background colors on the television. Wish that there were more show like that!

The setup is fairly easy although every time that I want to use it, I have to connect to the device again. It's as if it is having to setup again. On the bright side, once you are connected the sound is good. I thought it would be just for iTunes, but any app on your iPad/iPhone will play through it. Nice bonus!
