Easy, Convenient Meal Prep

Sous Vide is hands down one of the most convenient methods of meal prep, and the Anova Precision Cooker Nano 3 helps make this process a breeze. It's easy to use and setup, and you're only minutes away from getting started with cooking your meals perfectly out of the box.
Along with the cooker, you're going to need a deep pot and some zip loc bags. There's an app used to setup the device and connect it to your wifi. Once connected you have a library of cooking methods and recipes presented to you which makes it really easy to cook your meats to a perfect level of done per your preference. My only complaint about the app at this time is that it doesn't have an audible timer alert to let you know when it's done. So I had to check it or look for the notification.
I cooked some chicken thighs, pork chops, and steak sirloins with it. I used some simple zip loc bags and I seasoned each item to my personal taste and then sealed the bag. It took about an hour to cook each item, but the app gives you precise temp settings and time. The only con with cooking is that it doesn't shut down when time is up, it keeps the water heated to the same temp which would continue cooking the meat if you aren't keeping an eye on the app. The challenge is that it does take over an hour to cook so it would be nice if they did stop.
Once cooked you can simply freeze or store the meat in the fridge for a few days. You can simply choose to heat them up with a microwave or opt to drop your meat in the pan and fry it up real quick to get a bit of a sear on it.
All in all, I find it easy to use and it does a bang up job making the meat cooked to perfection while enabling you to meal prep like a champ. I would recommend this to a friend!

Great, Durable Trimmer w/minor annoyance

This trimmer comes loaded with accessories! At first you're ecstatic about all the new attachments, but then you quickly come to realize you've got nowhere to store all these random pieces. It comes with a stand which you can use to hold a couple of the pieces and the trimmer itself for charging, but your spouse will most likely relegate you to the doghouse if you choose to clutter up the bathroom counter with this massive trimmer stand/charger and all of it's accessories.
Overall the trimmer is fantastic. It's got a nice heft to it and seems as though it will stand up to a few good years of use. So far it's motor is just powerful enough to cut through coarse, thick hair without bottoming out. It seems to charge up pretty quickly and I managed to get a few trims out of a single charge. It's a little on the loud side and no one really seems to have mastered the art of making a trimmer that won't blow out your eardrums when you use the ear trimmer attachment.
I like the magnetic attachments. It makes it very easy to switch off the different cutting pieces. There's not a tremendous amount of thinking involved as they only fit on in one way and the magnet helps it glide on easy.
I knocked off a star because I felt it was a bad move on their part to provide a micro-usb vs usb-c charger. Practically every device these days is coming with usb-c as the default powering/charging connector. There's no practical reason for them to have gone with micro-usb other than having a massive warehouse full of the connectors they wanted to get rid of. Had they opted for usb-c you would easily be able to take a phone charger or other device along with you and power up your trimmer, shaver, laptop, phone...without having to worry about carrying around a dozen different cords.
Overall, I like the trimmer and I would recommend it to others in the market for a new trimmer.

Powerful, Well-Designed Trimmer

This beard trimmer is a sturdy, powerful, well-designed shaver. The packaging is minimalist, which is nice and saves on refuse. The carry case is sturdy and compact. The charger is brilliant! The device uses a USB-C charger, which means if you forget your charger on a trip, simply plug it into your phone charger and you're all set.
The motor is powerful and didn't bog down or stall cutting through my very thick beard. My beard hair was probably about 2in thick and it was able to cut without slowing. The guard is nice how it clicks on a dial to different lengths. And the cutter itself is removable from the frame for easy cleaning.
My 2 biggest gripes are related to the guard. The 10mm length to me is too short. I would like another guard that is maybe twice that length. At 10mm it took quite a few passes to get through my thick beard, but that was sorta to be expected. After I figured out the proper method for getting this done it came a little easier, but it took quite a few passes to finish the job right. So ideally, I'd like a longer guard, and for the existing one to comb better while allowing the hair to be cut without having to take so many passes.
The shape and feel of the device was good. It was easy to hold, not large at all, and the weight and balance was just right. It probably should have come with a small brush for helping remove hairs from behind the cutter when cleaning. Overall I like it and foresee getting a lot of good use out of it.

Smooth, Shiny Volume

Originally I got this for my teen daughter, but ended up keeping it for myself. I already owned a much more expensive, similar device with more attachments that was my go-to hair styling tool. So figured this would be a good option for my teen. Turns out, it works even better at straightening my hair than my other device!
Here are some of the features I love.
Large, metal brushes - I have very long, wavy hair with fine strands but thick volume. It tends to get wild and easily frizzes. So the size of the barrel combined with the metal allows it to heat quickly and over a lot of hair at once.
Glides Smoothly -. Round brushes sometimes get stuck in my hair, or tangles form near the ends. I’ve never had the Airebrush get snagged. It is incredibly smooth when pulling through hair.
Substantial handle - The very thick handle feels solid in my hand and allows me to maneuver it without feeling like I’m going to drop it. It has a super convenient spot to grab at the end that is just the right size for using an additional hand to get more tension. This is so much better than trying to hold a brush and blow dryer at the same time.
Multiple adjustments - There are several ways to adjust this, so you can find just the right temperature and amount of air for your hair. So I can create big soft waves or sleeker straight hair.
All in all, my hair looks super shiny and very healthy. About 1.5 years ago I had a bad highlight that left it dry and damaged. After many conditioning treatments, it is much better, but some blow dryer wands really release all the tiny frizzies and highlight the lingering damage from the mid-shaft. This one made it look amazing!! It is the smoothest I’ve gotten that wasn’t a professional blowout.

Awesome sound, a little loose on the fit in my ear

I've been using the SoundCore Liberty Pro 4’s for about 2 weeks now and can say they are well worth the price. Firstly, the sound quality on these is fantastic, and the bass is surprisingly good for wireless earbuds. The acoustics sound great as well and you can hear every part or instrument of a song very clearly. The 360 surround sound actually works quite impressively with most movies and shows.
These earbuds have an extremely satisfying case to open and hold with it not being too bulky or blocky. The earbuds themselves have a nice sleek design that fit the shape of my ears pretty well. My only complaint about the headphones is the 4 different interchangeable ear tips are easy to swap out and feel comfortable on my ears, however, I tried every size and stuck with the small size but none stayed in my ear that well if I was doing activities with lots of physical movement or if I was leaning over forward, they often loosened up over time and fell out of my ears very commonly.
Coming straight out of the box these headphones come charged and were extremely easy to connect to Bluetooth. The app is simple to set up as well and anyone could easily figure out how to do it. The charging cable these come with works well enough and gets them charged up relatively fast, and the battery life on these is able to last me a long time. The earbuds themselves last long outside the case and charge back to full in the case very quickly as well.
Overall I highly recommend the Soundcore Liberty Pro 4’s as a pair of headphones for any type of phone for this price point.

Could result in a broken phone

The iottie Velox Magsafe Wireless Charger and Mount was honestly pretty disappointing to me. I used it for about a week when I gave up trying to use it. It's a good idea, just in my opinion poorly designed. The “Super Suction Cup” is fantastic and clings to surfaces incredibly well, even to the point where it is hard to get off, however, the magnetic mount itself felt very weak and even without a case I often found my phone falling off and struggling to stay on. I feel the addition of some supports for the side or bottom of the phone could do this justice. Every turn or slight bump in the road I dealt with my phone falling off the charger and possibly being damaged due to the fall.
The ability to turn the head 360 degrees is a nice addition and the extra long charging cable means you can attach the wireless charger anywhere and still get good usage out of it. The charging cable is USB-C and if your car isn't compatible an additional 20 Volt Adapter is included as well.
All around not a terrible gadget but a bit disappointing and I wouldn't personally see myself using or recommending this to anyone in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Powerful, Quiet, Short Battery Life

I've used this vacuum a few times now and have had quite a few other cordless vacs similar to this that I can compare. I will say that this vac is nice and powerful, lightweight, but lacks a couple key things that would be necessary to land it that 5th star.
Unpacking the box and getting it setup was a breeze. It came with the usual attachments you expect to get with a vac like this. The motor itself is pretty quiet, but packs enough punch to suck up debris in deep pile. There's a plus/minus button that enables you to turn the suction power up and down with a button.
The beater bar has a bristle style brush, which in my opinion is a hair magnet. There were some innovations in other brands where instead of using brushes they used rubber flaps that didn't collect hair on the bar.
Another con is that there seems to be no way to stop the beater bar from turning when used on wood/laminate floors. Other brands have an option to halt the rollers, but keep the suction going so you can use it on solid surfaces.
I've only been able to get about 30 mins use out of a single charge. It's not ideal, but I am able to finish my 1800 sq ft rug area in that amount of time.
The debris tank is reasonably easy to remove and dump the debris. The charging base is a little oversized and only provides connectors to store 2 of the included attachments, so that leaves out the other two. It's easy enough to charge the vacuum, but you kinda need to remove the long handle brush to do so.
To summarize: It has nice power, is quiet, but lacks in the battery run-time dept. I wouldn't not recommend it, but I also probably wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it. There are other better choices for just a bit more money. So it really comes down to your budget.

Great for school and on the go!

I've been using the Acer Chromebook Spin 714 for about a month to do school work and other activities, and it performs excellently. Compared to other Chromebooks I've used in the past this is by far the best with second place being another Acer Chromebook. The battery life isn't great but is good enough to last a single day's worth of usage and still have some battery left over, however, luckily the charging is quick so if it dies you can get it charged up pretty quickly in about 3 hours. It is also pretty cool that you can see how much longer the battery will last if you click the button in the bottom right corner. The keyboard is extremely satisfying to type on with a slight click but not too loud that it gets obnoxious to use. The wide display is nice on the eyes and not too bright that it gives you headaches but bright enough to see very clearly. This Chromebook runs very smoothly and works great and can even run certain games without any hitching or delay.
Setting this Chromebook up is extremely easy and anyone could understand how to do it. Connecting to wifi is also very easy, upon turning on the Chromebook it provides you a list of all available wifis to join, and later on, is just as easy to join a different connection. The dockable stylus works great when you need and it has a few different modes that can make it helpful for doing art or presenting projects. The Chromebook is filled with some pretty good hardware for the price point and it's surprising that it's not too heavy for its size, which makes it nice to carry around in a backpack all day. The body of the Chromebook comes with two USB-C ports one on each side, this makes it handy to charge it no matter which way you're facing. On the left side, it has an HDMI port and a headphone jack, as well as a power button. On the right side, there is also a USB type A port, and a volume button. The trackpad works great and has no hold-up or friction so my fingers glide along its surface smoothly. The screen is made with a very protective antimicrobial gorilla glass which has kept this thing scratchless for the first month of usage.
All around I really love this device and the quality of the build, Acer never fails to impress with its Chromebooks and this one takes the cake. I would definitely recommend it.

Lightweight Elite Controller

Great controller that mimics the functionality of the Microsoft Elite Xbox controller. Biggest difference out the gate is that this controller feels a bunch lighter than the Xbox Elite. Which is not a bad thing.
This controller also enables you to swap out the d-pad and the thumbsticks. The advantage this one has over the Elite controller is that it positions the paddles in a slightly better location on the back of the controller.
One nice addition is the mute button on the controller for the 3.5mm audio jack. So for headsets that don't have an easy to access mute toggle, this button on the controller saves you some fumbling around.
All the buttons and trigger are customizable inside the console and enable you to adjust the sensitivity and allow you to create the control experience that suits you best.
You can direct wire this to the console, or leverage the built-in bluetooth connectivity to go wireless to the console.
The faceplates are removable and there's an aftermarket for add'l colors and styles for the faceplate of the controller. So this gives you the ability to customize the look without spending a fortune for the custom controller shop at the microsoft store.
Overall, it's a great alternative to the 1st party controller. I would recommend this to a friend.

fun gizmo that makes a conversation piece

Is it something you HAVE to have...No. Is it fun...Yes! The design is nice and looks good sitting on a table or shelf in your living space. The device offers dozens of patterns, and the entire family has enjoyed seeing those patterns made. The led lighting is nice and gives you a lot of flexibility to illuminate it and the space around in in different ways.
The build quality is quite high and it has a nice aesthetic to it. The glass on the top is solid and fits really well. The sand is a crisp white color and looks really good. It's surprising to me how precise this thing is at making the design each and every time. You'd think there would be some variance, but there really isn't.
I have no issues getting the bluetooth to connect on my android device, but it outright doesn't appear on my ipad in the list of bluetooth devices nearby. no idea why this is, but that is kind of a big deal because i use an ipad in the living room to manage household devices more than my phone. and a lot of people use apple devices.
my only other complaint is around the available patterns. now surely they will offer more over time. and right now it has a lot to choose from. what was crazy to me is that it had christmas and hanukkah patterns, but not one single pattern for happy birthday!! that seems crazy to me.
anyway, i think its fun and would recommend it to someone looking for something like this, but otherwise it's a want more than a need.

Is this phone worth getting over an iPhone 7,I'm getting Teri's of apple and heard that google phones are really good. Also is it hard go to use to the way this phone works if ur a iPhone user. Thx for help.
Apple is behind the curve. They consistently play catch-up to Android now. Make the switch...you'll be happy you did.

How load is it? I've used an Oreck XL upright and a Eureka Mighty Mite and would hope it's no louder as those. I prefer bagged vacuums but want to try the BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser because of its claims of not getting hair tangled on the roller.
It's louder than my Dyson DC28. I wouldn't say its outrageously loud, but it's got a bit of a high pitch whine to it.

What is the refresh rate?
there is no refresh rate/response time on an OLED. the pixels are instant on/off. however, there is input lag on the hdmi ports with post processing turned on. i've seen no problems with gaming on the cinema preset. if it's something that concerns you, you can simply turn on game more which disables a lot of post processing lag. but again, my assessment is that it's a moot point.

Will LG update to WOS3.0 ???? I have a EF9500 and it would be bad if they don't update it for the price we paid for this TV and I just got it in Dec 2015..

will this TV benefit from Geek Squad Calibration?
Got this TV several months ago. Think the picture is good, but not significantly better than my 2 yr. old Samsung. Got differing opinions from sales mgr. & geek tech when I asked this Q, then read calibration review from a customer on another LG TV saying the LG he had actually got worse with the Geek Squad Calibration. I don't want to waste my $, but want to make sure I'm getting the best picture I can now that I've invested the $ I did buying it. Any info out there re: 65" LG OLED 4K flat screen calibration?
make certain you're running the latest firmware from the website. the auto updater in the us isn't working properly. it's up to 4.20.75 as of today. i performed a calibration on it, and ultimately decided to go back to the preset Cinema settings. I for one prefer the brightness that comes with this preset. The colors out of the box are pretty spot on, and I actually like the Soap Opera Effect.
