However, the main purpose (to use this as a modem/router instead of CL's low quality one) failed as it could not figure out it was hooked up to my DSL line. I plan on going to Europe with a Galaxy S 5. Is there a micro SD card I can buy that will work with carriers for the phone and run Maps and Apps ?
My travel will be mostly by Eurail and I need to access five countries' (Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy and Germany) websites and download English language travel apps while using the Galaxy S 5 in those countries. Verizon is my current carrier but I understand that there are various other ways to purchase wireless connections both before and after I leave on my trip. Is this phone capable of handling those connections? What international carriers should I consider using on my trip which should be over 34 days, spent in mostly in the first three of the countries that I have listed.
There is no micro SD card, but you can swap out the SIM card for local (foreign) providers. You will get a new phone number that is local to the country where you bought the SIM. Depending on the country and the service you have, you may have access to voice mail. But some wireless operators in some countries don't offer it for prepaid users.

What is the difference in the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy S5 4G LTE?
There's no difference as they are the same phone. There is an "Active" version available from AT&T which is slightly more rugged, but the regular S5 can also be called S5 4G LTE.

As long as they're in good condition (and you hopefully have the box), customer service will most likely give you store credit for the item's lowest price within the last few months. Make sure our bring some forms of ID though.

What about audio quality measured in numbers?
There is no information about frequency response or distortion. Why?
When looking at bargain basement products at rock bottom prices, they are assuming you don't really care about details involving quality. If you're not an audiophile, these work fine for outputting basic computer sounds and music.
