Purchased three other stick broom vacuums and returned them all due to problems with their batteries. Saw this on special at Best Buy and bought it as the price point was in the sweet spot for me. I had read the reviews of this machine on Best Buy, Amazon and Consumer Reports and was duly impressed. I have not been disappointed. The machine has enormous power and while on regular power it lasts nearly20 min...enough to do a small house in one sweep. The suction is quite remarkable and it is easy to clean. Simply put, this machine is leagues in front of anything else.

This is a very light but effective stick vacuum. Unfortunately the charging light never worked properly (it kept blinking well over 24 hours). Called support services and was told that others had experienced the same problem. While the vacuum worked, I did not see a reason to keep it because if the quality control for the charger was poor, what else was going to go wrong with it. I returned the unit and bought a Dyson on sale at Best Buy. Best decision I could have made.

Battery non functional out of the box

Purchase this item after reading numerous reviews over several different sites. It appeared that it would be a perfect purchase for my needs. Unfortunately, the battery would not charge never allowing me to test out the unit at all. I called the manufacturer and they suggested I drive 20 miles to the nearest authorized repair center to have the battery checked. Really? The darn thing was dead. I suggested that I return it to Best Buy. Best Buy took the item back with no questions asked. I decided that if the quality control couldn't catch something as central to the item as the battery, that I would look elsewhere to another brand.
