I attempted replacing my current 240GB SSD with this 500GB SSD using Acronis software, but failed. I'm unsure if the SSD was at fault or the cloning software. I had used the software , successfully, to replace my hard drive, so I'm puzzled by the outcome. I suspect the software couldn't deal with a SSD source drive. I believe the San Disk SSD was not defective.

Great Vacuum for the cost!

We had to search for a "bagged" vacuum, not many choices. Our old Hoover bag vacuum worked for over 40 years. This one works great with a slight high pitched motor noise. We do miss having a retractable cord, but overall a great vacuum in it's price range!

Provide continuous data protection during backup or recovery with Acronis True Image software. Clone your disk or resize a hard drive partition even if you are moving data to a drive with a different capacity. Acronis True Image software comes with cloud storage so you can access your information from anywhere.

I was hesitant about replacing my main HDD on my work computer due to possible software migration issues. My "stock" HDD was 1TB but I replaced it with a 240GB because I was only using about 120GB. The Acronis software download worked flawlessly to clone my HDD. My system loads in 10 seconds and more importantly some APP's files now open quicker without a occasional frozen process.

Good DVR for Over the Air Broadcasts

Bought this DVR to record programs when away from home. I'm hoping it will also record basic cable programming. It records local broadcasts that we can receive a strong signal from. Some local stations seem to drift in & out for reception, but this is not a DVR caused problem. We've had it a few months with no problem. I'm concerned that it doesn't have built-in fan for the components.
