Great Streamer but no HBO Go...

I own an Apple TV streamer and a 'smart' Samsung DVD player; both get the job done more or less. But I find the Roku superior to both for the following reasons: More complete content, ease of setup/use, excellent remote and the cool headphone/remote feature.
The only downside is that HBO Go is not available on Roku products if you are a Comcast subscriber, which I am, for now anyway. As best I can tell it's a Comcast issue (not Roku) but the fact remains that I do not have access to HBO on the Roku - bummer. This is the only reason I gave it a 4 star rating. Otherwise, it's a great product.
What's great about it: Ease of use, content, good remote, headphone feature
What's not so great: HBO Go is not available for Comcast subscribers

We bought two of these for demo use at conventions. We were looking for attractive, cost effective Ultrabooks with large, high resolution touch screens, and Windows 8. These Sony's fit the bill better than anything else I could find.
Not sure I'm a fan of Windows 8, but that's not a Sony issue...

HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer: You can efficiently complete large jobs using this printer, which lets you print on envelopes, labels, cardstock, transparencies and postcards to suit your business, personal or crafting needs. Just connect to your network via the printer's built-in Wi-Fi to get started.
I have four of these at my office, one at home and just bought this one for my teacher wife's classroom. It's easy to set up, very dependable and the ink cartridges last a long time. It's a very good low cost option for b/w printing. Wireless works great for iDevices. I don't think you can find a better b/w printer for the price.

Perfect for my needs

Having just gone through a two day power outage due to summer storms, I was looking for a cost effective way to power our Rinnai tank-less water heater when the power goes out (it runs off gas but has a control panel that needs power). The CyberPower did the trick. Since not powering conventional electronics I did not install the software, simply plugged it in and was off to the races. And I like the way you can turn off the irritating alert/warning beeps. Oh yeah, a nice side benefit is that we'll be able to use it for charging our iDevices too; my experimentation revealed that it stayed up for about 24 hours while continuously charging two iPhones. Heck, I might buy another one!
What's great about it: Price, Ease of Installation and Use
Keep your iPad 2nd-, 3rd- or 4th-generation protected against dust, bumps and scratches with this Apple MD305LL/A Smart Cover that features a leather exterior with a microfiber lining. The cover magnetically aligns with your iPad for an ideal fit.
There are LOTS of covers out there. If you want one that protects the back of the iPad or houses a keyboard this is not the one. But if you want something that protects the screen without adding bulk to the iPad, this is it. I love the instant off/on aspect. And the leather is nice, a cut above the vinyl one.
Editorial comment: I don't understand folks getting an iPad and then enscouncing it in an elaborate cover that makes it as big as a netbook. I have a netbook (and notebook); and what I like most about the iPad is it's size...
What's great about it: Protects screen, instant off/on, adds no bulk
NETGEAR Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender: Broaden your network connection with a range extender that gives you extra Wi-Fi coverage in your home. Smart LED indicators will direct you to the optimal location to plug the extender into the wall, so you can easily enjoy improved range and speed on your mobile and wired devices. Save on data usage by connecting your smartphone or tablet to your home network.
A WiFi-only iPad and a wireless desktop have had trouble getting a good WiFi signal in our master bedroom. Brought this home, took it out of the box, plugged it into a wall socket halfway in between, pushed it's button; then went to my NetGear wireless router, pushed it's button and shazam - now have an additional WiFi network that's just like the main one (security-wise), except it has '-EXT' on the end of the SSID - easy to find/connect to. Both the desktop and iPad went from little/no signal to the max. Problem solved. Of course, I had a NetGear wireless router, could have been a different story with another brand...
What's great about it: Inexpensive, easy to install, worked as advertised
I was replacing an old Altec lansing speaker system (with a blown subwoofer) and was open to spending considerably more than this, for good sound. But based on the price and reviews I decided to give it a shot. I must tell you that I was pleasantly surprised. While not a good choice for a large space or situation where you want a LOT of volume, it's fine our small'ish space (our master bedroom). The fidelity is good at low volumes, degrades pretty quickly if you push it. But for a small space, you can't go wrong. They look good too, and don't take up much space.
What's great about it: Price, Resonable sound (for the price)
Whether it's on your patio, poolside, lawn or even on your boat you can enjoy music while relaxing outdoors. Bose's Stereo Everywhere® performance speakers spread the lovely sound around the whole area.
These replaced some plant speakers that have been been going down hill for years. They installed easily, look good and sound great. Pandora now fills our screen porch and garden pretty much 24/7. I've yet to be disappointed with Bose products...
What's great about it: Easy install, good looks and sound great

Almost bought a Dyson - so glad we got this one!

Was told by our housekeeper that our old vacuum (Hoover) was dying, time for new one. So, I started investigating what's out there. Came close to buying one of the expensive ones (Dyson or Oreck) but decided to go with this one, since the price was right and reviews were good. Boy am I glad we did. It's basically a new/improved version of what we had, and I must tell you that Hoover did it right: the weight is good, the wind-up power cord is great, the dirt container removal is a huge improvement over the old one, the washable filter is great and it's good that you can change the belt and/or remove the brush roller bar w/o needing a screw driver. Hard to believe a Dyson/Oreck at 2 or 3 times the price could be much better... Glad we bought it!
What's great about it: weight, wind-up power cord, easy to empty dirt container
Keep your Wi-Fi connection strong anywhere in the house with this NETGEAR router. Monitor your network with the NETGEAR genie app, keep track of your kids with parental controls, and use multiple devices simultaneously for downloading, gaming and more
It was time to replace a old Netgear "G" wireless router with an "N". I saw a special at Best Buy for a D-Link DIR-615 and bought it. I have installed MANY routers through the years, and assumed installing the D-Link would be like falling off a log. Wrong. Following the D-Link instructions to a "T" (several times) I never could get it to work (defective maybe?), and frankly, I did not have the time/patience to call D-Link to troubleshoot, so I simply retuned it and went back to Netgear. This router installed beautifully and solved our range problem - the workstation farthest away can now connect and stay connected with great throughput - huge improvement. I highly recommend this Router. I should never have strayed from Netgear...
What's great about it: Ease of installation, Range, Stability

Update: Minor issue
November 13, 2011
After emptying the dirt container a few times... it may just be ours, but there is a rubber gasket on the dirt container door that can come loose, and would be very easy to throw away (with the dirt). Still happy with the purchase though.

Added Chromecast, Now have all three...
June 7, 2014
We now own a Chromecast too, bought it for portability, to take on vacation. It's small, and there's not a remote (use your iPhone). Anyway, while it's nice to have scores of channels to choose from, we basically watch three: Netflix, HBO Go, Amazon Prime Instant Video. If you're a Comcast subscriber AppleTV is the only one that has all three.
AppleTV: Netflix, HBO Go, Amazon by screencasting Roku: Netflix, Amazon Prime, no HBO Go (due to Comcast snafu) Chromecast: Netflix, HBO Go, no Amazon
